“A bad experience was immediately taken care no questions asked, and that’s great customer service,

I came in for a Dubai strawberry cup today, the first time it was made the cup was half empty, I was quite surprised considering the cost is $12
I saw on the crumbl instagram the cup is supposed to be completely full even overflowing.

So I reached out to the store and she immediately offered to remake it free of charge, I appreciate the quick response immediate action.

It was delicious!

Parking: Although front parking may seem full, the spots open up frequently and there are more spots a available further down.

Kid-friendliness: Mini cookies are a great choice for kids and limiting the sugar rush.

Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs or other obstacles to impede wheelchair access.“

“I recently visited my mom in Bakersfield. I lived there in high school but moved away about 36 years ago. We happened to be driving down California Ave so I told my mom that we should stop at Dewars to pick up some candy. She reluctantly agreed because she is not a big sweets or dessert person. Her one vice is ice cream so I was able to convince her to come in. The place is beautifully decorated in 50’s style motif and one of the servers dressed adorably. I got a mint chip with hot fudge and peanuts. The peanuts were so finely chopped and the hot fudge was delicious. Who would have thought that mint chip would be pink? I headed back to Florida the next day and I just can’t stop thinking about that incredible ice cream and experience. I guess I am going to have to visit my mom more often. Thanks for the treat Dewars. 🥰“

The ice-cream was really good and they have many unique flavors. The candies are also delicious.

They have a really nice “old school ice cream parlor” vibe going on. It feels very classic Americana and I enjoyed just being inside.

Well worth the visit if you’re passing through town!“

“I visited this spot and overall had a really good experience. The atmosphere was nice and made it a great place to relax and enjoy something sweet.

The only downside was that ordering was done entirely on a tablet, which made it a little difficult to make adjustments or customize items the way you might want. It would be nice to have a bit more flexibility there.

That said, the desserts were SO good—definitely the highlight! Everything tasted amazing and made the visit totally worth it. I’d still come back just for the desserts alone.“

“I went last night for the first time to get treats for my family , I walked out with 4 paletas , a corn in a cup , chocobanano, and two scoops of vanilla ice cream 🍨 🙂 Everything was delicious 😋 my family enjoyed everything! The girls working their were very nice and patient 🙂 totally recommend! As as far a language barrier ... I’m bilingual so I had no issues , but I did see their was a girl there speaking in English ! Don’t let other peoples negative comments stop you from coming here if you don’t know Spanish !“
