This place gave a rustic atmosphere. I feel like I could have enjoyed looking at old photos and some town history. Our server was friendly and answered our questions. Definitely gave mom and pop diner feel. Food portions were great, and taste was on point. Hats off to he chef. Will definitely be going back.
Me and my kids have loved going here for years. Family feel atmosphere. I generally get Migas while they get the Freedom Toast. You don't leave hungry, that's for sure. Sometimes, there is a wait, but it's worth it. The inside is decorated with all things old oil Bakersfield. It's fun to read about local history while you wait for your good. You'll also find pictures of famous people that have visited. I've never had a bad experience here.

The best place in town for country food aka home-cooked style. Portions are great. The French toast is special and very delicious, just ask them. ? my favorite place to get home made biscuit and delicious gravy. Hits the spot every time!! ?Vegetarian options: I love the house country potatoes here.. I know it sounds strange yet simple. They use some bell peppers and onion in there, just like home. Freedom toast is one of a kind!
