“Had a DELICIOUS 🤤 😋 breakfast with my dear friend!! I love you girl! 🥰🌸😘. AV FRIENDS!!! I highly recommend this cafe, not only for its excellent food, and affordable pricing, but for its outstanding customer service! They did not disappoint! I don’t think my coffee cup ever made it halfway, empty! I had the apple, pumpkin pecan French toast. Drooooool worthy!!!! Breakfast and lunch only. 💛💛💛💛💛“

“So my best friend and I had the absolute pleasure of eating here. Now let me tell you at first glance it just looks like a quaint little restaurant. The people that serve you there are just amazing and very helpful. Like you can tell when people like their job. There’s vegan and non vegan options. The tea selection was very impressive we choose cold tea. And it DID NOT disappoint. Being diabetic I choose my sweetener to be on the side. My drink didn’t need it, it was amazing! We ordered and again at first glance it didn’t see like the experience we were about to have. The first bite was an explosion of flavors and I’m very picky and it was so good the chipotle sauce was absolutely amazing. We both shared with each other and her meal was so good as well. Then we ordered dessert and oh my!!!! Delicious!!! So if you’re looking for something different like we do, come here. The food is made with so much love you can taste it. Thank you Modern Tea Room for the best meal I’ve had in a long time. And thank you for your amazing staff, they rock!!“

“We booked a party for 40 to celebrate a 90th birthday. The banquet room was nice and separate from the main restaurant. The service was on time and the food was great. We were able to choose which foods we wanted to serve. We booked the room from 5 - 8 pm and got there an hour early to set up and decorate. The clean-up was provided by the banquet staff. There was several tables of 8-10, so guests could sit where they wanted. There was a table provided for the gifts and we brought in our own cake. Everyone enjoyed themselves and had a good time.“

“I was finally able go to Lobos after 2 years and half of patiently waiting for this coffee spot to open, back when it was going to be called Corvo Coffee!

I went there on a really hot day looking for something refreshing, I saw that they have cold brew and a 50/50 which seems interesting. I typically like to be challenged and stimulated by the coffee I drink so I asked the barista if there was a way to get something carbonated with coffee. He was totally open to the idea which tells me the baristas creativity is there, something you don’t see too often in the shops here in the AV. We went back and forth trying to come up with something, a 50/50 with blueberry or strawberry was brought up but I asked if they had tonic water by any chance which they don’t have on their menu but it was his personal tonic water. I mentioned to him that a cranberry espresso tonic would sound perfect as we’re pretty much already in fall and with this heat.
He did me a favor and made me the tonic, it was delightful and refreshing to say the least since it’s hard to find coffee shops around the area that deal with tonic.

Overall, the experience was great but my drink was even better! I’m glad Kyle (the barista) took my order that day as I feel many other baristas would have declined my request to make me a tonic as it’s not even on the menu. Neither is the cranberry I believe but I think it would be a great addition to their fall menu if they plan to have one.

I also hope they eventually decide to open up the rest of the location to have seating inside.“
