“This diner is a solid 4.5 of 5 as far as diners go. Twice I've eaten breakfast foods here and both times the restaurant was spotless and the staff was super friendly. This is a text book diner with all of the typical foods. My eggs were cooked correctly and the regular hash browns were browned on both sides making them steaming hot in the middle. It's the cleanliness and consistent food and service that really makes this place shine, well done!“

Today is my second time to be here. The food is good. All my friends love it.
I do not eat meat. They made my breakfast burrito, took out the meat, and added avocado. It was very good.
Two of my friends had the perfect landing because it comes with coffee (only one comes with coffee).

My friends wanted to come again. So I am here. I wish they should have more vegan dish or vegetarian with coffee for me. I hope it will soon because all my friends love to eat here, but I do not want to eat meat. Thanks.

“Essex, the newest addition to the Arbor Court Empire. They also own Kensington's campus Apartments on 30th West & Ave. I, next to the veterans home, as well as Arbor Grove. Arbour Court is owned by LA Mental Health Care. These places are great places to live for seniors at 55 and older, that is Arbor Court, Arbor Grove, and the great new Essex Apt's.“

“Had a DELICIOUS 🤤 😋 breakfast with my dear friend!! I love you girl! 🥰🌸😘. AV FRIENDS!!! I highly recommend this cafe, not only for its excellent food, and affordable pricing, but for its outstanding customer service! They did not disappoint! “Paige was an amazing server, she continually checked on our party and made sure we had everything we needed. On top of that, the Steakhouse Bacon Cheeseburger was THA BOMB! Although the burger could have been cooked just a bit longer, but it was delicious and the bacon was flavorful. Thanks, Paige, for your service, it was impeccable! “Lately, I've been checking out all the fried chicken spots, and this time, I found one after work. It's open almost every day until 11pm. The staff was truly friendly, the food looked good and tasted awesome, and the prices were, to my opinion, fair. I got the double slider with fries and what seemed to me like a street corn on the cob. The fries were fat and crispy. The chicken in the sliders was awesome. Personally, I always prefer some toastyness on my bun, whether it's a sandwich or a burger. Definitely stop by and have a bite! I almost forgot one of the best things!...they make some awesome homemade lemonades! I tried the strawberry (I wish I had ordered a jug!) and I also tried the raspberry. Great combo for the food! Try it!“

“We had my sisters retirement party at Zeldas in Aug 2024. The location is great for a summers evening party with dancing, drinking, friends and family! Karen was so accommodating from the first time we met to plan the event. So glad we had it here!!! The staff was great. We had pizzas and charcuterie boards, skewers and sliders and they were all delicious! Everyone loved the food. The atmosphere was vibrant and upbeat. Karen walks around with a smile. Our guests were accommodated ! Even our DJ was impressed! Thank you Zeldas for a night to remember! We have really gotten to know the people and the location. We have become regulars !“

“It is a gas station place so you don't expect much but it is truly a little hidden corner. While I usually dine there for burgers I really love their wet burrito, with golden crunchy tripas and a red salsa, it is absolutely delicious. Staff is friendly and the aguas frescas are refreshing! It is very limited in space however so be warned about seating during peak hours.
Parking: Very few parking spots, no shade, high traffic area due to the gas station.“

“What bothered me was an incident in bar area and amale customer who was clearly bit to much to Dr said the female sitting behind him had the shirt tag showing told the lady he was not trying to be rude and she yelled at him.so bar tender ask him nicely and not loud to please leave.he should have been offered a raxi not send him driving drunk I pray he made it home“
“We came after worship service june 10,2018. We were pleasently surprised how delicious the food was. My husband and I had the Turkey Avocado bacon Club. We also had the Strawberry Lemonade. To die for. Loved the atmosphere and our Lead Server was the best. Very attentive, bubbly and funny.“

“I stopped by this place the other day after seeing some positive reviews. Highly recommend. They make a great vegan sandwich. They have a vegan ham, turkey, cheese, and they use veganase. “Staff is always attentive and helpful especially on this visit . The server gave me some great recommendations I had a hard time narrowing down on what I wanted but when I finally did oh it was so good !! Manager came by and chatted for awhile and made sure everything had came out good . She even grabbed some sauce to pair with my food , I shoulda gotten the name it was amazing . Couldn’t get desert cause we were so full , will def have to save some room next time though .“

“A dark-skinned lady attended to me. At first I thought he didn't speak Spanish hehe. He told me where he was from and what his name was but I forgot. I went in for dinner and my anxiety and depression was great but I left there very happy because she treated me extremely well and besides, she looked super beautiful. I think Karen is the name but I'm not sure because my mind feels like it's exploding right now. But very good service now when I come to eat there I want only her to serve me“

“Walked in and it's like I am in a New York style bodega. The vibes and service were top billnig.
I got the Chicken over rice w/ a side salad. They asked if I wanted white sauce or red sauce, or both - I got BOFFADEM. SOOOOOOO GOOD. It was like a Mediterranean fusion.
My lady got the fried chicken with fries. The chicken was SO CRISPY even 15 minutes after ordering! And the meat was SO JUICY! We even took some of the yellow rice from our dish and wrapped it in the chicken skin with hot sauce drizzled over. TO DIE FOR.
The guy we chatted with out front also hooked us up with some of the specialty drinks, I think since we mentioned it was our first time there. The 'Superman' (lemonade + fruit punch) was sweet but DELICIOUS. and the Arnold Palmer (lemonade / sweet tea) was so refreshing!
We also got a banana pudding that I wasn't too thrilled about. It wasn't bad, but also not the best I've had,. Could have been better if the Nilla wafers still had a crunch or if they added some real bananas to the pudding mix.
Overall 10/10“
