“This place is definitely my comfort zone. I've always loved stand-up and watching some of the greats come to Bakersfield is awesome! I was the only one to take a pic with Paul Rodriguez after he said he's retiring from comedy so that was something 😁 My favorite show so far was Gianmarco Soresi when he called himself a "straggot". Good vibes, drinks and great food 🤗“

“Thank You AppleBee’s for a nice, relaxing, yummy lunch. Our server today was Alisha (I am sure I am spelling it wrong) Sweet, attentive and enthusiastic. She visited with us, chatted with us, made us feel welcome.
She told us about all the years she’s been in servicing and how much she loves working for AppleBees. She told us about how she took a break from service work and came back to work because she loves it so much and how awesome it is to work for Applebee’s.. She gave us just the right amount of attention. Our salads, soup, appetizers and entrees were all excellent. Portions so big, I have lunch for tomorrow.
Typically, my husband and I are not go out to eat type of people. We typically cook at home however my husband has been having lots of doctor visits recently so we have been eating out. I’m just so shocked that our money goes so far when we go to Applebee’s. I can’t replicate these same fantastic meals at home. I don’t understand how they can do the two for 25 deal but I’m totally into it. And thank you so much to the manager that comes around and checks on us. I felt like a superstar.“

“DO NOT STAY HERE!! IF YOU ACTUALLY WANT TO SLEEP!!! I am so mad right now. We picked this hotel to stop and get rest on a long road trip, what a mistake!!! Its basically like im sitting in a f$%^% rave! Blaring loud music, bass is rattling the walls, and we were told "I can give you ear plugs..." wtf is that going to do??? Do not stay here!! Edit to add: I spoke to the front desk this morning and right away they blew it off saying "ma'am, its down town Bakersfield, its going to be loud"... be f&%$^ serious!! Im 40yrs old, I've stayed at 1000's of hotels in my life. Many on the heart of Vegas strip, big party areas, and NEVER in my life have I dealt with something like that! She said its not the hotels responsibility... um yeah it is! They are 10000% aware of this MAJOR issue and it IS THEIR RESPONSIBILITY to warn there customers. We didn't even want this type of room, we asked for two king rooms, and the host at checkin said this option would be better. I hope this place continues to lose business, until they start taking some responsibility.“
“This was our first time here and we absolutely loved it! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was warm and welcoming. Karen was amazing, such a wonderful host who truly made us feel at home.
We’re so glad we found this spot! My husband and I finally have a place that feels like “Cheers,” but with wine. 🍷 We will definitely be back!“

“Firehouse in Bakersfield is the place to be. I came out for poker night with Sunshine Poker League and had an awesome time. The tables were full, the big game was running, and everyone was super welcoming. It felt like I walked into a room full of friends, even if I didn’t know anyone yet.
There was tons of food, and we had our own server who made sure we were taken care of all night. The service was on point. You will not go hungry here. I promise.
And when you’re not playing poker, there’s still so much to do. They’ve got arcade games, pool tables, and a really fun atmosphere all around. I left having a good time and already planning my next visit.
Highly recommend checking it out. Firehouse knows how to host a great night.“

“extremely poor service. my boys were at a birthday party and it took an hour just to get drinks, at that they warm bottled drinks. then it took another hour or longer to get food. no one ever walked up to them for 45 min. and was not even a busy night not very many other customers their. never came back to refill. the drinks. extremely unacceptable service. it is sad when you can get better service and food from a food truck than an actual restaurant. not sure where to leave star rating but it would be -⭐“

“We go here for my sister's & dad's work, every year! It's always nice to chill with my family & say hi to some of their coworkers. We get to do some bowling 🎳 & play pool 🎱
