10 Best Burger Restaurants in Tehachapi

“Hey, these guys were dead on with their hamburgers. Nothing fancy, but certainly when you’re looking for a burger you just want your basics. And this was very delicious for a very basic burger. The guys behind the counter were super nice and had no issues with the ordering. Realizing that these folks have been in business since 1956, oh my gosh, the year I was born….has to say a lot about their consistency. Keep up the good work!“

“I had a wonderful experience the first time ordering from you guys a couple days. Today, was the complete opposite. I have never heard of a person being to busy to read a special order that was stated at beginning of the conversation. You could hear in Jennifer's voice her tone changed so much that she suggested I go Facebook and look at specials. Pizza tastes bad and the cook didn't know about they're specials. I called 3 times before I was able to order my food. I asked for cheese sticks they gave me mozzarella sticks. Jennifer, then informed me. "You're going to have to wait. Thanks making me aware of that. I was literally over charged and I suggest that she shouldn't work in customer service her attitude was horrible she made no attempt to hide her tone or her comments . Maybe she should be re-trained.“

“The food is outstanding! Their ham and eggs breakfast is way more than anyone can eat so it’s two meals for me, and it’s really really good. I’ve also had their Big Beef, which is basically a French dip sandwich and it’s also excellent. I’m new in town so I’ve just started going there and I’d love to try other things. I had a girlfriend come here to visit from Bakersfield and she had a lamb gyro today that she said was fantastic! It doesn’t look like much from the outside (or the inside), but trust me, this is a great place to eat!“

“Service is good, they are definitely understaffed. The food is fresh and delicious, the waits are long. You'll have one person cooking, cleaning, taking money, serving, you name it's like a one-man operation. Their bags of ice add triple cheeseburgers are to die for. Staff is always on point and friendly. Sadly enough with short staff but waiting is always longer.“

“I stopped at this Pilot location to get my daughter a Cinnabon and decided to go ahead and order lunch from Wendy's and I am so glad I did. I ordered a Wendy’s single combo and the burger was not dry and I am not just talking about the patty but basically the whole burger. I ordered a quarter pounder yesterday from McDonalds and it felt like I had gauze in my mouth because the burger was extremely dry. Anywho, the Wendy’s burger was very good and the fries were hot and crispy outside soft inside. This reminded me of Wendy’s as a kid back in North Carolina.“
