“I travel through Tehachapi often but this is the 1st time I've stopped here. We had an amazing experience at this Taco Bell. Beth was so friendly and very pleasant upon us entering the restaurant. She greeted everyone that walked through the door. It was slightly busy but she was still very polite and friendly. I spoke to the manager and gave kudos to Robert because this is the first Taco Bell that honored my request as a customer the way I like my nachos is everything on the side and only nacho cheese on the chips. I hate soggy nachos. Overall, it's this kind of customer service that keeps customers coming back! Thank you Taco Bell Tehachapi!“

“We were greeted the moment we walked in the door. Allysa who was working the register and the Cinnabon and pizza counter was so kinda and enthusiastic!!! The pizza was delicious, highly recommended! Can’t express how great Allysa was, that girl needs a pay raise! The Wendy’s also had great salads that were very fresh! Very nice clean facility. I wish every gas station was like this“

“Service is good, they are definitely understaffed. The food is fresh and delicious, the waits are long. You'll have one person cooking, cleaning, taking money, serving, you name it's like a one-man operation. Their bags of ice add triple cheeseburgers are to die for. Staff is always on point and friendly. Sadly enough with short staff but waiting is always longer.“

“I stopped at this Pilot location to get my daughter a Cinnabon and decided to go ahead and order lunch from Wendy's and I am so glad I did. I ordered a Wendy’s single combo and the burger was not dry and I am not just talking about the patty but basically the whole burger. I ordered a quarter pounder yesterday from McDonalds and it felt like I had gauze in my mouth because the burger was extremely dry. Anywho, the Wendy’s burger was very good and the fries were hot and crispy outside soft inside. This reminded me of Wendy’s as a kid back in North Carolina.“

“The Jersey Mike's in Tehachapi, CA is by far the best location I've visited. The restaurant was very busy when I stopped in, but the employees were friendly, efficient and kept everything moving smoothly. What impressed me the most was how they went above and beyond to make sure every customer was taken care of. Great service, great attitude, and a great experience overall!“

“The Tehachapi crew needs praise! The food was prepared at a higher level than most other locations. The portions and flavors were arranged with a clear focus on quality. Update the building and this location will be a golden example and will set the bar higher for other locations.“

“This location doesn't deserve the low rating that it currently has. The workers are friendly and as efficient as they can be, but they seem a bit short staffed on the line. I arrived yesterday during a dinner rush and there was only one guy there to make everything. The lady on the register was busy ringing up customers and the cooks in the back seemed busy, so I have to assume it's a staffing or management issue.

I've stopped by here a few times when I'm passing by on the 58 and will continue to do so. They are pleasant, don't skimp on portions, and the food is fresh.

Side note but the spot that Google maps currently shows the restaurant at is not accurate. It shows it in the same building as Panda Express. This is incorrect, it's the small building to the north.“

“We stopped in Tehachapi to get gas and some sandwiches from Subway on our way home from camping on the coast about a week ago, and ended up leaving our kids stainless steel water bottles on one of the tables there. I called within 20 minutes of realizing we had forgotten them and spoke with Crystal, the manager on duty. She said she would mail them to us, which was more than I had expected. We didn’t want to have to turn around and go back, as we were pulling a trailer and it wouldn’t be that easy. So to have her offer to mail them to us was a nice surprise. She was very pleasant and helpful, as were all the girls working. Not to mention, the sandwiches were tasty as well! We most certainly will be stopping here again, as my kids love Subway sandwiches!“
