“The food is typical Subway. Not gourmet but what we expected. This review isn't so much about the food but the way we were treated recently. My wife used the Subway app to take advantage of a deal, three sandwiches for the price of two. She entered the payment information but she wasn't paying attention and somehow got charged for three sandwiches rather than the two. We went into the store inside the Walmart and spoke to Joey and explained the problem. He kindly processed a refund and explained it could take several days for the refund to credit back to my account. He then offered to give us the online deal even though technically it was supposed to be done through the Subway app. Joey's kindness and understanding of the error was a breath of fresh air. Moreover, the refund credited to my account later the same day.“
“I haven't been to a Subway for a couple of years, because there are so many new sandwich shops that honestly have better tasting sandwiches so I thought I would give it a try and this Subway in Tehachapi was on my way home. The person who helped me was wearing gloves and a mask (not required in Kern County) but appreciated. He did a great job putting my sandwiches together. The ingredients looked to be fresh and the place was clean. I will be going back again“
“We loved this quaint little gem quite literally located on a tarmac. It was a great place to pull up a bench seat and settle into the slow and steady small-town vibe while eating a delicious cold sandwich and watching the air glider planes take off. I recommend calling and asking what the flight schedule is before coming in, if you're hoping to guarantee seeing a glider take off or land. We saw one or two during our time, was really fun to watch! The food was good and people were friendly. They had gluten free sandwich bread, as well.“
