“Pockets absolutely deserves some recognition. My family and I stopped in and ordered the Ultimate Steak Sandwich and the Don's Chicken Sandwich, and honestly both were some of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time.
The Ultimate Steak Sandwich was loaded with tender, juicy tri-tip, perfectly sautéed peppers and onions, and not one but two kinds of melted cheese all piled onto a toasted sesame roll. The combination of cheeses took it to another level — rich, gooey, and perfectly balanced with the meat and peppers. Every bite had great flavor and the meat was cooked just right. The Don's Chicken Sandwich was equally impressive — crispy, perfectly seasoned chicken topped with fresh avocado and crispy bacon. Not the kind of avocado that's been sitting around either — you could tell it was fresh.
We added fries to both orders and they were exactly what fries should be: crispy, well-seasoned, and not greasy. A great complement to both sandwiches.
The place itself is small and cozy — just a few tables — but the parking is easy which is always a plus. What really stood out though was the owner. He was running the whole operation by himself and somehow kept everything moving quickly and got our food out fresh and hot without any wait. That kind of dedication shows, and you can taste it in the food.
Pockets is the kind of local gem that deserves way more attention than it gets. If you're looking for a seriously good sandwich in the area, do yourself a favor and stop in. We'll definitely be back.“

I wanted to share feedback regarding my visit today during the new menu launch at Mendocino Farms. The restaurant was extremely busy, with high volume and some understandably frustrated guests as the team worked hard to keep up.

During this rush, Manager Olive provided exceptional hospitality and leadership. She personally checked in with me, offered a drink while I waited, and carefully verified that all of my order modifications were correct. Beyond that, she consistently supported her team—calling out orders, monitoring operations, and proactively engaging with guests who seemed upset to ensure they felt acknowledged and cared for.

My mom and I ordered the garlic basil sandwich and my personal favorite the spicy chicken sandwich with Caesar salad.The oven baked bread is savory along with the ingredients and fresh guacamole in the sandwiches. “Luis made the perfect giant sandwich for me and my sister! The Giant sub was about $19.00 and a normal (half the size), costs about $11.00. “Placed a hot sub 2/23/26 3pm and was done quick. I can respect the attention to detail about how the sub wasn’t wrapped too tight for a hot sub and there wasn’t chicken or cheese melting out the side in the wrapper.

As I was waiting in line, the only slight con that I would mention is maybe more banter/light conversation between the slicer and then also whoever sprinkling the subs. I get that you want to ask for their order and ask Mikes Way and just finish the sub. But one thing that made the store that I had great in NC was the owner and GM always being friendly and asking about the customers day.

“My sandwich was SO mouth watering and delicious that I felt the need to review this subway. I come here often, and honestly this was the best sandwich by far. I’ve never been disappointed, their ingredients are ALWAYS fresh, the customer service is amazing, and even if they have a line I swear. They work so fast and so well with one another. I’ve been to many other subways and the lettuce is all mushy and gross and they throw your sandwich together and half of the time they aren’t friendly. “I stopped by this Jersey Mike subs to finally use my tmobile Tuesday deal on the reward points. I ordered from the app and went with the #8 Club Sub regular size. Everything was good when the item was in the cart then I applied my rewards point on the order. When it was time to check out, I saw that they charge a fee for a bag. I tried to remove it but it never went away so I had to pay the small bag fee on my order. I arrived early to the store since I was in the area but my food wasn't ready until the actual pickup time. The inside of the store is nice and quiet. I waited like 10 minutes for my food to be ready. I thought my sandwich was a bit salty so I didn't really enjoy it. I don't often eat Jersey Mike's Sub but I wanted to use the reward points and try it out.

“Everything was great. I went twice in a row. First time I purchased 4-$20.00 gift cards and was given the receipts. Next time I went my account was locked and did not receive credit for my purchase. I was notified by Subway of suspicious activity on my account and to inform them of my past purchases with dates, time and location. After a couple of weeks I was notified my account was unblocked, but no credit for my purchase although I sent the receipt. Odd, just odd. Hard to get a parking spot in the small parking lot. Street parking is limited as well as next to a fire station.“

Every time I come in, they treat me like I’m Tom Cruise or some kind of VIP. Always smiling and friendly…the absolute BEST customer experience. They’ll make the sandwich any way you want it. If you have a coupon, they don’t act like the discount is coming out of their paycheck (dealt with that many times elsewhere). If you need help with the app, they jump right on it instead of the usual “I don’t know how the app works”. But it’s not just me. I’ve been in line and seen them treat the customers ahead of me exactly the same way. Seriously, other companies should send their CSRs here to see how great customer service is done. And I say that as the manager of customer service for a mid-size company with 87 employees under me. Because of that, I pay attention to the customer service level everywhere, and it's mostly employees that give off the vibe that they would rather be ANYWHERE than work. Many Subways and other restaurants around me, but this is my permanent go-to spot. Five HUNDRED stars!!!“

“My son went here for a job, after interviews they told him to fill out his in boarding paperwork, he did, then they would send him a schedule, never showed up, calls went un answered, they would put him on hold when he called and let him wait and never pick up..he stayed on hold over 40 minutes. How can you be that cruel? If you don't want to hire the kid then fine just tell him. He turned down other jobs waiting for his schedule. This is disgusting behavior. Why on earth would you do this to a kid just trying to do some good honest work.. you sir are a coward!! how do you sleep at night doing crap like that...“

“The only reason for not providing 5 stars is that there was a large amount of online orders to be made. There were 2 employees there and a long line inside. I fail to see why it's more important to serve a non-visible order as opposed to the person standing in front of you. The person who made my order apologized for the long wait, women though it wasn't her fault. Would I have received my order faster if I ordered it online? Probably, but that's still wrong.“
