Anyway I went to this location Dec15th after church ( 1119 3rd St Calvary Tabernacle) best decision Ever!! I bought a garlic Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. The lady there suggested it on a cheese bread you must try this sandwich!!! She spread garlic butter on both top and bottom breads then added lots of cheese to both sides put two trays of steak on it and put it in the oven extremely Yummy smelling right?! Then when she took it out and asked politely what I wanted on it I had her put lots of green bell peppers, red onion, pepper cheenies , and sliced tomatoes oh and a line of lite mayo and one of honey mustard Oh My Goodness!!!!! Best sandwich I’ve ever had, for real For Real !!! I ate one half with vinegar and sea salt chips and theses new fountain drinks that taste like tropical juices all kinds of flavors to choose from I would suggest you eat there so you can get free refills on your drink because all the flavors are so good I actually mixed them !! Healthy and great tasting juices watered down to where there not too sugary. I had had her to wrap the other half of my sandwich for my grandson but unfortunately it never made it to him because that sandwich was so very great ????????????! Get the subway app on your phone before you pay and earn 53 tokens . My whole experience was worth every penny what a blessing. Thanks Subway for great food and very pleasant hospitality this is now my new go to place !!!!!“

“Everything is good til you have employees arnt as nice or don’t feel like working. Not even a smile or thank you for coming. I order my sandwich and just cause I didn’t wanted Mike’s a little girl gets an attitude and makes it sloppy and more when wrapping my sandwich she smashes her fingers hard on my sandwich. Then they have there loud heavy metal music in the evenings and too noisy. This is a food place, not a nightclub.. some women have there point tails out instead in a bun and having hair scatter. Not good.“

“I ordered the Santa Maria BBQ sandwich, and it was delicious. The bread was incredibly fresh. I even got to see them making it right there. Anissa (I hope I am spelling that right) took my order and truly impressed me with her efficiency. She handled everything from running the register to prepping food and organizing to go orders. Despite the busy crowd, she was friendly, thorough, and quick. The restaurant was clean and well organized and the employes worked seamlessly as a team. Great Food, great service.“

The staff exceeds expectations by providing an uncommon pleasant experience with their personalities. The kind lady and gentlemen, of a husband, who staff this Subway make me feel at home each, and every, time I walk through the door. They have great hours of availability in addition to delicious & refreshing Pepsi-Cola products that are all too difficult to find these days in the Restaurant-Chain world, to wash down tasty sandwiches.

Subway has a certificate of recognition for best sandwich, in Burbank, in 2025, and I imagine it’s in no small part due to this particular establishment at 401 South Glenoaks Boulevard.“

“The description of Ike's to me made it sound like Fat Sal's and I was excited. Truth of the matter is Ike's holds its own, and it didn't disappoint. It has a great menu mixed with Meat and Veggie options. The Mrs. and I split and highly recommend the Captain Carl and the Meatless Mike (I concur "best vegan meatball in America", and Our 3 y/o gives the grilled cheese 👍👍. “I have been looking for quinoa all over LA. This place serves it and it is very good. The mix has just the right amount of dried sweet cranberries and a few chickpeas. It was perfect. I had a salad with tuna avocado and egg salad. I was able to sub the egg salad for tuna which was very nice of them. They gave me a fork full of a mayonnaise free tuna they had prepared on the way out which again was a great experience. This is the kind of place that you feel cares and you'd want to keep going back to. A+++“

Lived walking distance from this place for a few years over 10 years ago and I'm so happy and not surprised it's still making the best sandwiches in town. All the reviews are correct. The food is great and made fresh with fresh ingredients. The vibe is friendly and the best kind of humble confidence that only comes from good people doing what they do well. “Mendocino farms makes great sandwiches. But, the parking at the Toluca Lake location is a nightmare. Ordering pick-up??? You will regret it. Valet will turn you way even though half the parking is empty. People showing up to eat only to leave when they can't find parking. The priority for the Valet is profits above convenience. I wonder how much money the restaurants are losing everyday because of this. Hundreds for sure.“

I wanted to share feedback regarding my visit today during the new menu launch at Mendocino Farms. The restaurant was extremely busy, with high volume and some understandably frustrated guests as the team worked hard to keep up.

During this rush, Manager Olive provided exceptional hospitality and leadership. She personally checked in with me, offered a drink while I waited, and carefully verified that all of my order modifications were correct. Beyond that, she consistently supported her team—calling out orders, monitoring operations, and proactively engaging with guests who seemed upset to ensure they felt acknowledged and cared for.

Watching her remain calm, organized, and guest-focused in such a high-pressure situation truly stood out. This is a strong example of what great management looks like in action. I visit this location often, but seeing her lead the team so effectively today was genuinely impressive.

Please recognize her for the amazing job she is doing. She represents the brand exceptionally well and absolutely deserves recognition for her leadership and hospitality.

“Daryl is a cheerful pick me up every time I stop by! He always has a huge smile, is exceptionally professional and so freaky fast! I’ve also heard him coaching and training others and I can tell he’s an amazing leader. I come by this location at least once a month and always have a great experience.

Parking: There’s street parking all around the intersection, just depends how much you need to walk. Service is usually quick enough that I can put in a quarter for 15 minutes at the meter and I leave well before it runs out.“

“Fantastic place with a good variety of food. I enjoyed the fat Jerry, which had delightfully tender steak, crispy chicken fingers and fries, all seasoned perfectly to compliment eat bite! I'll definitely be going back again to try something new. The fat shake #4 with oreos was probably one of the best shakes I've had in a few years, so don't forget to get your shake on while you're there. If you're up for a challenge they've got 2 there, and best of luck with those! (Not my best photo below, but i was in a rush, and excited to try it. )“

“First time here yesterday and happy to keep coming back, had the hot pastrami sub and it was seriously good loved the mayo mustard combo with chopped tomato onion and pickles combined and layered generously over the whole sub Also had the Tonys special sub .. lots of fresh and tasty deli meats mortadella hams salamis and again the in-house mustard mayo combo .. awesome sandwich For a side I had the bow tie pasta which was cooked al dente with plenty of the marinated artichoke hearts and a great authentic Italian feel and flavour As this had now developed into leftovers for dinner given the size of it all I took us home a tiramisu for dessert later, and as with everything else well worth the eating Opened in 1979 and still going strong .. it’s easy to see why“

“Ordered the roast pork. Very big sandwich you can easily split or save the other half for later. I don’t know what liquid they add on top of the sandwich but it was amazing! The bread soaks up all the juices and it’s a flavor bomb with every bite. I will say their pork is no where near as tender as valley of sandwiches.“

“Got the pastrami sandwich and it was a solid choice, stuffed with meat and a hefty portion size. The bread was fluffy and nicely toasted as well. Great service that was super efficient and fast which was super helpful since we had a flight to catch. It's a very convenient location right next to the burbank airport (3-5min walk door to door to the ticketing area) so we got a quick bite to eat before the flight, instead of getting charged for overpriced airport food. Overall: very filling/tasty food, solid friendly service, and super convenient location.“
