“The owner of this place is truly one of the best. He treats his customers like family, and you can tell he genuinely cares about the people who come through the door. I believe he’s originally from Australia, and for some reason I thought he no longer owned the place, so it was great seeing him there again the other day.

The shop is always clean, the staff is friendly, and I’ve had a lot of good experiences here. I did get a little upset recently because my sandwich wasn’t made the way I expected, but I later found out the person working that day was only filling in for one day and normally works at another location. That completely changed my perspective, because it wouldn’t be fair to hold this store or its regular staff responsible for one person’s mistake.

At the end of the day, this is still one of my favorite places. Great owner, great atmosphere, friendly people, and a business that makes you feel welcome. I’ll definitely keep coming back.“

Anyway I went to this location Dec15th after church ( 1119 3rd St Calvary Tabernacle) best decision Ever!! I bought a garlic Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. The lady there suggested it on a cheese bread you must try this sandwich!!! She spread garlic butter on both top and bottom breads then added lots of cheese to both sides put two trays of steak on it and put it in the oven extremely Yummy smelling right?! Then when she took it out and asked politely what I wanted on it I had her put lots of green bell peppers, red onion, pepper cheenies , and sliced tomatoes oh and a line of lite mayo and one of honey mustard Oh My Goodness!!!!! Best sandwich I’ve ever had, for real For Real !!! I ate one half with vinegar and sea salt chips and theses new fountain drinks that taste like tropical juices all kinds of flavors to choose from I would suggest you eat there so you can get free refills on your drink because all the flavors are so good I actually mixed them !! I had had her to wrap the other half of my sandwich for my grandson but unfortunately it never made it to him because that sandwich was so very great ????????????! “Everything is good til you have employees arnt as nice or don’t feel like working. Not even a smile or thank you for coming. I order my sandwich and just cause I didn’t wanted Mike’s a little girl gets an attitude and makes it sloppy and more when wrapping my sandwich she smashes her fingers hard on my sandwich. Then they have there loud heavy metal music in the evenings and too noisy. This is a food place, not a nightclub.. some women have there point tails out instead in a bun and having hair scatter. They are CASH ONLY, and all their subs coming with the same ingredients, no lettuce. The pickles, onions, and tomatoes are not slices, they are chopped up and literally scooped up and place on the sub. It is delicious and they are very large portions, just not typical, know before you go! Try something different, you may like it!“

And it's not the first time I've experienced this there and it's not always with the same person. The sandwiches are bomb. But the service puts it over the top every time.“

Driving away, on the way to an appointment, and then realizing that your order is wrong is THE WORST. Fortunately, staff was proactive about a resolution. One star docked for the atmosphere because it has a slightly grimy vibe. I’m sitting at a “cleaned” table right now, and it has a coffee stain on it. Plus the communal seating is—well—communal. The customer service really stood out — the staff was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and took the time to greet us and offer suggestions from the menu. “Let me begin with the positives such as a clean area to eat outdoor or indoor and the cooking area is clean. The lentil soup is vegetarian and super savory with the dill and seasonings. The soujouk burrito is delicious with great tortillas. Please don't change the tortillas. The green Greek salad is fresh and tasty. The coffee is smooth and perfect warn temperature. The macha was perfect as well. I believe what makes this a place I will come back to are the organic good quality ingredients they use and the attention to flavors. It's important to cook with care. During this rush, Manager Olive provided exceptional hospitality and leadership. She personally checked in with me, offered a drink while I waited, and carefully verified that all of my order modifications were correct. Beyond that, she consistently supported her team—calling out orders, monitoring operations, and proactively engaging with guests who seemed upset to ensure they felt acknowledged and cared for.

Watching her remain calm, organized, and guest-focused in such a high-pressure situation truly stood out. This is a strong example of what great management looks like in action. I visit this location often, but seeing her lead the team so effectively today was genuinely impressive.
