Gia’s is what we use to call this spot when I visited their Burbank location back in the days! They are still top-notch and super good! Get the O.G PEPPER STEAK! Sad to see this location didn’t have good reviews... I thought the food and service was excellent! Sure, the neighborhood's got a bit of a quirky vibe, but hey, that's just Sunland/Tujunga for you. Swing by, show some love, and cheer on those small businesses!
My first contact @ Giamelas was and remains to this day has been the Pepper Steak & Egg the Pastrami aint bad, bit the PS&E I me really like it. Next is the Pastrami Pizza again I think it is quite tasty that bite of dill pickle merges nicely with the cheese the crust could be a bit more crunchy which would.mean a slight burn but it not really burned, thats just me. Can't back to LA to visit and friends asked what I missed eating out here. Did a quick Google search. Giamela's?!?!? Pepper steak?!??!?!? !? <Drool drool> Yaaaaaas!! Deliciousness!! Last time I came, it was a little too salty but this time it was just right. So good!!!! And right across the parking lot is a Yum Yum donuts and Baskin Robbins to grab some dessert.
