“This is the best Mexican food. I love the spinach and chicken enchiladas. The chicken has a smoked taste and they are so delicious! Their chips and salsa are amazing also. The owners are very friendly. Whenever we're in Taft we go there to eat.“
“This restaurant gives old western TexMex. The waitress was alert but not too clingy. Just enough to take care of all our necessities. She's been working there for more than 20 years so it makes sense. The "complaint" is the size of the corn cake that comes with the combos. It's like a tablespoons worth.. I wish it were bigger. That is all.“
“As soon as we were seated I knew we made the right choice coming here . The decor and friendliness of the staff was so nice ! You just know the foods gonna be good when the salsa is top notch ! I ordered a chelada beer with a dark modelo , it was insanely delicious , I enjoyed every sip , compliments to our server , she did an awesome job ! I ordered the chili relleno meal , it was delicious! This place is a hidden gem , it's located beside the Topper motel , we'll definitely be back !!“

“This place is the best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to! They’re Quesa Birria tacos are 10 out of 10 and comes in a huge portion, so you’ll have to be taking some home afterwards. Their chips come out warm and their salsa is a must try. The restaurant has a warm feeling with it when you step inside, and you’re always welcomed in.“
“Their food is very delicious! I love mexican food but have never tasted the difference between the different areas of Mexico. Their food is from Oaxaca, Mexico and I was nervous at first but decided to give it a shot. The Hurache is delicious! So much flavor and is enough for two to eat. I can never finish one myself despite how delicious they are. They have aguas frescas which are really tasty as well.“
“Authentic! Just one word to describe this place! Been coming to Taft the last month for a project and I’ve tried a different plate every time. There is definitely a Mexican Chef at this place! I’ve had the tampiquena, fajitas, carne asada, and albondigas. All great must try….and go for the house specials…..there’s a reason it says specialties! Oh and they have beer on tap!“
“Excellent salsas, tortillas, meats, avocado, prices, and service! I'm stoked to have found this taqueria and enjoyed the best Mexican food I've had in the area. Highly recommend! I loved the pollo taco, shredded chicken sope, and camaron taco.“
