First time ever at El Pollo Loco and for a Mexican Restaurant wasn't disappointed. The floors weren't greasy or slippery, employees who I talked to were friendly and nice. Went back a second time to purchase a gift card for friends who live in the area.

We usually go thru the drive thru, service is good gets you through fast. Food is always plenty never slacking on the portion size. And feeding a family of 4 the price is right.
Vegetarian options: U can get what ever u want with out chicken.
Dietary restrictions: Good healthy and u can control you intake. Meal prep is great here and if u counting calories are what ever the food is good for u better then mc donalds
Parking: Big lot lots of room
Kid-friendliness: Yes grilled chicken good better then fried
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes double doors and chair height tables
2024.0820 I find the fire grilled chicken greasy. The skin sticks to you fingers. The sides are too small. If you need to feed 4 or more people you need to buy a family meal and it is mega expensive. Your best bet is to have a coupon to buy chicken only. At home, make some instant mashed potatoes, open a can of black beans or pinto beans and a can of corn. For a little effort on your part you will save a lot of $$. If you must, buy a large mac & cheese but I don't think it's that great. They changed the reward point system. You now have to order and pay thru the app and can no longer just scan your receipt ?

These people are THEIFS!!!!!!!! They stole my credit card. I realized after RECEIVING my food the worker did not give me my credit card back with the receipt. So i park then go in and let her know but she says i dont make mistakes and refused to look for it. I check my car and wallet again and i confirmed that i dont have it. I go back in and they are laughing speaking spanish and i produce the receipt and let them the know again my credit was never returned. The manager gets sarcastic and states we dont have it in a rude tone. 5 mins later I call my bank and apparently someone charged my card several times at this location. Please beware going here because they STEAL

Finally a place without Kiosk machines. Person to person interaction is much more appealing. They should remove all Kiosk machines from Pollo Loco.

The food is good, the service not so good. When ever I go through the drive thru there's always something missing that I ordered. I used to use their online app to order, but onetime the app froze. I went to the restaurant and they had not received my order. But the money was taken out of my account. They said I would have to call corporate. I order there at the restaurant thinking I would get reimbursed from corporate. I called corporate and someone fiddled around with the computer for about thirty minutes. Well I never did get that money back. I think I'm done with El Pollo Loco,I'll never go back again
Got the "half chicken" meal. That's 4 pieces with 2 small sides. The pieces were small and over cooked. I easily waited 15 minutes in the drive-thru. I paid $14.00 for that meal !!! ? But the worst part was that there was a line of at least 5'6 cars in the drive thru, the wait was ridiculous and when I got to the window, the manager was inside laughing and goofing off with his workers. It was just after 4pm on this last Thursday.
