It was a great place, positive attitudes, great energy. Food was good and was competitive to the pricing. Only reason a 4 is because they were understaffed and therefore service was subpar. Not the waitresses’s fault at all; they were great just overwhelmed. Food came out quick, hot and fresh.
Toward the end of our visit to California, my son and daughter-in-law treated us to lunch at Iron Cactus. It was a lunch to remember! We arrived about noon on a Saturday and had no problem getting a table. As we took our seats at a large corner table, we surveyed the restaurant’s interior. It is rustic yet comfortable. There is nothing assuming about this place, and one would be comfortable in a pair of blue jeans or in a nice “Sunday” suit.
