Went to try Jim’s because I read it was good food. It’s not . I ordered breast thigh leg very greasy, I ordered red beans and rice not good tasted either spoiled or it had vinegar in it. For dessert I ordered sweet potato pie. The pie was hard not sweet just no flavor.

First experience today and I am very satisfied with the chicken . The flavor was great. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because I didn't get my mojos for my daughters...
The chicken wasn't cooked in fresh oil, it tasted like a dirty kitchen. The staff was not knowledgeable on what was prepared nor the ingredients. Sides are from a can and over cooked.

Jim's Happy Chicken has the best fried chicken in LA County!!! You will not be disappointed, it is absolutely delicious!!!! The mojo potatoes, collard greens, and potato salad is so good. Jim cooks to order, no precooked chicken hanging around under warmer lights. It's all made fresh when you order it, it goes in the fryer. It does take about 25-30 minutes to get your order, so call ahead! Good food takes time to prepare and it's piping hot right out of the fryer, crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside!! He makes his own super favorful hot sauce as well!!! We are LA County healthcare providers and clinics and we love Jim's sweet spirit and kind heart as well. He gives back to the community by providing food to the homeless in the area for a fraction of the price. We support him and his efforts to feed those in need. If you feel generous you can also donate to his cause to feed the homeless.
