Tasty but pricy ice cream. Two scoops for 14$. Although it’s worth it. Chocolate Tahini - just good!

California cabin is delicious!

We stopped in after lunch to grab a pint for later that evening. I was a little surprised at how expensive a pint was ($15!) but then I was FURIOUS when I got home and saw that the ice cream was also *vegan*. Never in my life would I have knowingly paid $15 for vegan ice cream.

Then we ate it, and it was some of the best ice cream I've ever had, which is even more upsetting because now I'll have to pay $15 for vegan ice cream again. We got the California Cabin flavor.

Great icecream with lots of flavor options. Best of all, those who have to eat dairy free can enjoy too! We are repeat customers.

$10 for this. A tiny bowl of ice cream. I’m extremely upset that I paid this.

I’ve tried a LOT of dairy free ice cream over the years, and this is the best by far in texture as well as in rich flavors.

A big note: you don’t want as much of this ice cream as you think you do! I am not saying this to police your serving sizes, however, it’s SO RICH that you’ll get halfway through a cone of two scoops and feel EXTREMELY full. I highly recommend ordering about half as much as you might of typical ice cream. It’s also not cheap so that bigger serving will run up the bill, too.

Pro tip if you’re local: buy the pints and bring them home to enjoy this stuff at home. It travels pretty well since they don’t pump it full of air, so a cooler bag should suffice if you don’t also bring an ice pack.

The cones are great but also very rich/heavy compared to a typical cone, so again keep that in mind.

My favorite flavors:
Chocolate Tahini Super Cookie
Mint Brownie
Strawberry Milk

I do wish they had a more traditional style of coffee ice cream flavor or close to it as their Jamocha Chaga Fudge wasn’t for me and I’m a major coffee ice cream lover!

Vegetarian options: The entire menu is vegan.

Dietary restrictions: The entire menu is gluten-free and dairy-free / vegan.

Amazing ice cream. I pre-order online and they’re often times out of the flavours I order when I arrive to pickup in person. Is there any way to update the online menu in real time to reflect what’s going on in store?

I’m a huge Ice Cream fan, dairy preferably! But dang this Ice Cream can compete with some of the best dairy ice creams I’ve ever had. I don’t get the other reviews about how disappointing size or that it isn’t dairy. This is sustainable, extremely well made ice cream by a fully female staffed company (i was told). Highly recommended.

Really expensive. The look on the kids faces when they saw the size of the ice cream scoops you get for $5.50. :( We went to Safeway and got pints of B&J for the same price, taught the kids a valuable life lesson about money.

Delicious ice cream, especially for those who can no longer handle dairy. Every flavor is delicious, which makes it so hard to choose! I come here often due to proximity of the ferry and boy is it dangerous. The staff is always welcoming and there’s never been a line. Check it out if you have the time!
