It was a good experience overall. However, when we walked in the door, the first thing we noticed was that the space had the smell of a sour dish rag or mob. It was unpleasant, and we almost turned around and walked out, but we didn't notice it once we sat down.
Always a joy to dine on the patio among the Redwoods. Delightfully quiet oppy to catch up with family and still see inside the World Series score. Wonderfully fresh fish and a large portion to boot. Don't miss the cornbread to share!
What a great experience, and what wonderful ambience. And our server was outstanding. I was also pleasantly surprised when the check came. This will definitely be a must stop whenever I visit my son in San Rafael.
