A bit of a walk down memory lane. Still enjoy the food, but it feels like the menu hasn't really changed in years. Business seems good, so the formula obviously works - just maybe starting to feel more like a cover band.
What has changed are the prices. I know that costs are up everywhere, but as an example, dinner ended up being around the same per head as a recent meal at State Bird Provisions in the City - with way less variety, inspiration AND volume. Really, no comparison.
I'm sure we will continue to visit (nostalgia is quite the drug!) but it isn't as special as it used to feel.
Best risotto on the planet. They make it fresh to order and their go off.

We ate here on a Monday night. Some restaurants close on Monday or Tuesday because it slows down during these days. But, this place is so good, it was lively!
Staff: All staff were so friendly and attentive. It is one of those places you felt like the staff just anticipated your needs without being overbearing. They were professional, but not stuffy and kept a great sense of humor.
The atmosphere: Lively, but not so loud or the tables too close that you can't hold a conversation. I loved the high beamed ceilings.
Food: Delicious! Everything we had was super! We started with salads and appetizers: Arancini was crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside with a light tomato sauce (delicious), The salmon ceviche on crispy potato was light and flavorful with different textures to tease your mouth. The calamari salad was light with a hint of citrus and spice. For main dishes we had the Yellow curry with root veggies. Nice light curry flavor without it being overwhelming, creamy and delicious. The gnocchi was light fluffy pillows that practically melt in your mouth with just a little crispy on the outside to give it some texture. Amazingly we had room for dessert. The apple pear tart was simply divine. Light, flaky, sweet sensation! We had ours with their homemade caramel sauce! Yummm! All the plates were finished off and delicious.

Delicious food and gracious service. We shared a number of appetizers among four people, which was an excellent way to taste so many of their offerings.

"5/5 stars! Picco is hands down the best Italian spot in town! The pasta dishes are cooked to perfection, and the pizzas are crispy and flavorful. The service is top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff. Cozy atmosphere and great prices. Highly recommend the Devinci pizza and Brownie for dessert. We'll be back!"
Excellent food and outstanding service! We had the wood-fired son of yeti pizza which was delicious and the gnocchi which sets a standard for how gnocchi with sausage should be served. Our server, Marcus was on point. His recommendations were spot on and he made us feel right at home. Thanks for a great evening Marcus and the whole staff at Picco!
Food was terrible. Service was ok. There were a lot flies flying around inside in the dining area. Barf
Excellent service, absolutely stunning atmosphere, and incredible tasting food!
The gnocchi & Risotto were especially delicious!
Their pizza is also the best in the West, and I highly recommend it as well!
Definitely worth the wait but love their foood. Delicious

I have been going for years and have rated the food 5 stars before. However, I can compare the current servings to those of the past.
The tuna tartare on crispy rice has shrunk. The crudo is now served with a grapefruit/citus mix. It’s too acidic and it’s bathing in the juice. The sliders were a little dry. Other dishes such as the avocado toast with balsmic and chorizo were still phenomenal.
Perhaps a bad night?
Excellent food, but the prices were too expensive for the portion sizes. Only 4 out of 5 because of the costs which were pushing close to $100 per person with a bottle of wine.
I’ve been here a couple of times. The first time I ordered the steak which was phenomenal but the waiter was MIA and the busser brought us the wrong food. The 2nd time I ordered the risotto which was amazing but the busser bumped into us a few times. I would go again for the food if invited.

We love the food at Picco and service is good too. However, the noise level for dining inside is really exhausting. When full, the room has nothing soft to lessen the volume. At our last visit, we all decided to bypass the dessert, which we had looked forward to at the end of meal, because at that point we most wanted to exit the very loud room. Picco is now a restaurant we will only visit in better weather for outdoor dining.

I ordered the raviolis, soup and arugula salad. Very disappointed. The soup was a very meager helping, the raviolis (pasta) was uncooked, and the arugula salad was wilted with nothing accompanying the arugula, only a tsp of olive oil on the side. 3 bread crumbs and a tablespoon of Parmesan cheese. Not worth the $$$. Very disappointed
