This restaurant is always a winner with super friendly service, insanely delicious food , and a great atmosphere for all occasions

I crave the gnocchi here and I don't even like gnocchi. My kids were mad when they had their fries and said now all other fries are ruined for them. Their Crudo is proportion is tiny but delicious. Had the most Marin kind of pizza - the kale with roasted garlic and it was delish. I could go on...but I need a nap now...

Excellent! We throughly enjoyed our meal. The cauliflower with tahini was perfection. The blackened Brussel sprouts delish. The salmon with orzo was small in size but overflowing with flavor. We also loved the ricotta tortellini. Friendly service. Would definitely return. We were ordering take out but the ambiance looked warm and lovely.

I have never left a subpar review on yelp, but I feel I need to in this case, because I have always really enjoyed this restaurant. We dined here last night with friends, and I have to say that almost everything was very mediocre. The gnocchi was heavy and salty, my salmon was overcooked, cauliflower appetizer was uninspiring, and the cannoli for dessert felt like it had been sitting in the refrigerator for hours. The octopus was quite tasty but otherwise I was very disappointed especially because I've had such great experiences here in the past.

My wife and I have enjoyed dining at Picco for years although our experience last night left much to be desired. We made a 6:45pm reservation online and noted it was for our anniversary celebration. Once we were seated, no one greeted us or took our drink / apps order for about 10 minutes. We eventually ordered starters, which included a bottle of white wine as well as the burrata and tuna tartar appetizers. The waiter did not offer to bring a wine bucket for the bottle until ~30 minutes after we received the bottle, which by that time was already warm and almost gone. For dinner, I ordered the New York strip steak with an order of risotto and my wife ordered the octopus. Risotto orders are ready every half hour, so by the time we got our meal, the steak was warm, not hot, which led me to believe it had been sitting under a warming light for some time waiting on the risotto. The salad that came with the steak had inedible amounts of salt dumped onto it, so it had to be sent back. In addition to the service being generally slow, the waiter forgot to add the bottle of wine to our bill, so he showed up with another check while we were getting up to leave. The hostess nor the waiter made any effort to wish my wife and I a happy anniversary. Normally I wouldn't expect anything, but why ask what the occasion is when making the reservation if you are going to ignore it? Typically, a restaurant will bring out port or some ice cream for occasions like that. For a $300+ dinner, I expected exceptional service and food, which Picco has had in the past. Unfortunately, it seams like Picco has lost it's knack for exceptional service and thoughtful, well prepared food.

I have been coming here for over 15+ years and tonight had my first not so great experience. The caramel ice cream is usually my favorite! But tonight it was melted and when I asked for more since there was nothing on it, they told me no it's just "hot". I asked for a side and it was a literal soup. Very disappointed, and no one was nice about it either! Customer service should do better!

Possibly the best restaurant in Marin County.... No, it definitely IS the best. The best of everything: food, service, ambiance. Yes it's expensive, but you get what you pay for. Who else makes fresh risotto every half hour? The menu changes based on what is fresh and available. Also, the bar is stocked full of all your top shelf choices. This place needs to be on your radar even as the once in a while treat. Risotto Risotto Risotto

Excellent food but when seated inside, space is tight and the atmosphere is noisy. Also can't enjoy pizzas inside for some reason.

Over the past five years we have been to Picco many many times. It was a favorite restaurant of mine for many years and we enjoyed countless excellent meals there. However, our last four visits/meals have been incredibly disappointing. The service has been dropped off considerably and the food is below average. On top of that, it's expensive. We will not be returning.

Excellent food, very relaxing chilling atmosphere. Been here twice, and have not been disappointed. The Filet carpaccio is a must. It is absolutely fantastic. They are also known for their Brick Oven pizzas. ??????

Picco’s at the heart of the town of Larkspur is delightful. Especially on a warm sunny evening.I’m a fan of gnocchi and Picco’s rendition of it is outstanding! My dinner companion and I both had the steak. Delicious! And I also had salad which was very good. For dessert I had the cannoli. It was ok. The pastry shell was a bit too hard. I want to go back and have the pizza! The aroma was so alluring. I also want to sit outside on a warm evening and enjoy the unique ambiance that is Larkspur.Parking: When busy, parking along the street gets crowded quickly.

We went here for lunch on a Sunday. I thought it was a pizza restaurant for years but they have a whole menu of great choices. Nice place.

We had a reservation for a Sunday night. It was busy but not full. The outdoor space is pretty small. Tables inside were a bit crowded. Nice decor. Service was well-paced and attentive. Our server was friendly as expected at this more upscale location. Some of our food dishes were great, but the linguini pasta was a bit chewy and gooey. It was not done right. So we skipped it and just ate the other parts of the dish. Snap peas were the bomb - slightly spicy. They had a very extensive wine list, including "by the glass".
