I have passed by the restaurant a number of times, putting it on my rotation of places to eat. I was waiting for my husband to finish with his appointment so I ordered the lamb salad at the counter, adding garlic fries on top. So much for my vow to stay low carb.
It was mid-afternoon, quiet and warm, so I sat down outside, perfect for people watching. A server brought a large bowl of perfectly dressed greens with chunks of lamb, and a healthy addition of crisp garlic fries. The salad is a generous portion, more than I could eat at one sitting. It started getting to warm outside for me so I moved inside. Hubby finished his appointment and joined up with me, finishing what I could not. We ended with a small bowl of their plain, Greek frozen yogurt. It was perfect, just the right amount of tang.
From start to finish, everyone I engaged with (order taker, food server and manager) were friendly and professional. I would definitely come back to try more of their menu.

We went out of our way to dine at Souvla. And I would now say it wasn’t out of our way but the only way to go! It was phenomenal!
The menu is basic with either a wrap or salad with choice of meat. We had one lamb salad and one pork wrap. Usually Greek salads are a let down but no. This was full, satisfying, and fresh. It was loaded with meat (which can I just praise because just because people order a salad doesn’t mean they don’t want meat- so thank you!!). It came pre-dressed but I actually didn’t mind it because it was the perfect amount. The radishes and cucumbers gave it a great crunch. The wrap was good too- the pork was cooked perfectly. But I would say the salad is the better choice- more bang for your buck!
To wrap up our meal we had to try this Greek frozen yogurt! We got the baklava one (and they even added the cherry on top so we could try it.) It was a unique dessert experience. Not too rich or heavy. Simple enough to get that sweet satisfaction but not feel over the top. I enjoyed it but could do without or next time I would try the olive oil one.
This is a great spot. We were there for an early lunch and by the time we were wrapping up it was packed. Worth the side trip for sure!

I bought take out , this has been the best Greek food I have had in a very long time. It's been the best Greek food since I went to Greece . Please stay in Marin , we have needed a fantastic Greek restaurant since I moved here in the late 70s

Always a great stop for dinner. I love that. They just sell protein on the side because sometimes when I’m hungry I need a snack. I’ll just get a bowl of chicken for pretty cheap. It’s warm. It’s ready to go. I love it. I also love that they serve Strauss Greek yogurt for their frozen yogurt.
