We came on a cold Wednesday and it wasn’t busy at all but it was still a great place to watch a game.

This place does get extremely popular and busy when it’s warm outside or there’s something big going on! They have mostly indoor seating but also outdoor.

There’s no food menu but you can bring food from outside, like Za Pizza.

With the photos on the walls, this place is a blast from the past and honors the history of San Francisco.“

“Went there with relatives from Ireland. The told me it felt like a pub back home. That is a great compliment. The bartender was also from Ireland and the back and forth banter between the bartender and my guest (Mainly dealt with the different countries they were from) was hilarious. Had great time.“

“Outstanding bar, staff, patrons, and sports watching. The regulars playing pool in the back are always nice and welcoming as long as you have common sense and can figure out how the chalk board works (there's always a few random old nags hanging around complaining, but they don't last long because they lose and leave). Lots of TVs with different games on, safe bar in a safe neighborhood. Nothing to complain about except it gets hot in the back sometimes. Probably the most popular spot in SF to buy merch as well. Great hats and shirts. Top tier bar.“

“My favorite spot to play pool. The bartenders are nice and drinks are great. The atmosphere is always fun and energetic. Several players with good skill level show up here. Weekends get fairly crowded and fun. The pool tables are really nice. They have Diamond brand tables, 8 ft, which they maintain fairly nicely.“

“Amazing place and people!!!! The manager, Candice, is so sweet and helpful! We got married at Deer Park Villa nearby and chose to have our after-party at Nave's after looking into multiple bars in the area. Nave's stood out to us over the others because of the friendly, casual, laid-back, and fun vibes! Candice made it so easy for us, helped us coordinate with Ghiringhelli's Pizzeria in town to have late night food there and ready for us when we arrived, and even let us bring our DJ and allowed him to set up his equipment and continue to play for all of our guests. We cannot thank her or Nave's enough for this! They even let us come back and do it all over again the next night! Some of our best wedding memories were made here this weekend. All of the staff and other customers were so friendly and welcoming to us! We definitely recommend Nave's for a wedding after-party or event! “Nothing more iconic than meeting in little Italy with the loudest nations in a jolly and with a fantastic atmosphere bar. La Rocca is a great place with Italian and Irish heritage pouring from every corner and person in it. It is incredible. Very friendly and beautiful people too.“

“Great patio for watching football. Staff was really friendly and helpful. I wish they had food in house but the flexibility to bring in outside food was really nice and I appreciated it. Atmosphere inside is great too but most people were on the back patio. Also drink were good and bathrooms were really clean.“

“Good music. That’s about it in terms of major pros. I usually come because the bar is empty at nights and I can bring a large group without worry of the place being too full but sometimes the bouncers will try to charge cover when the place is maybe at 5-10% capacity and I’m about to bring in 15 people all ready to buy shots. Not sure what kind of instruction they’re receiving but if Rockwell is empty and still charging cover there’s so many better bars nearby they’ll lose business to“
