We had the most amazing experience with Amo Italia— truly the best in the South Bay!
From the very first interaction, their team was professional, warm, and incredibly accommodating. The service was top-tier, and every person involved went above and beyond to make sure our event ran smoothly. You can tell they genuinely care about their clients and take pride in what they do.
The food was nothing short of outstanding — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You could taste the authenticity in every bite. And to top it off, everything arrived on time and perfectly warm, which is no small feat for catering!
But what really set them apart was the people. The staff was kind, attentive, and truly a joy to work with. They brought such a positive energy to our event and made everyone feel taken care of.
If you're looking for amazing service, incredible food, and a team that feels like family — Amo Italia is it. We can’t wait to work with them again!
This not a restaurant it's a ghost kitchen
Vodka rigatoni, it’s alright but not what I was expecting. No strong taste.
Last night my partner and I decided to give this ghost kitchen a try and we have zero regrets. We ordered to share because we wanted to try a little of different things. Bruschetta with burrata pesto and arugula, spicy rigatoni and added chicken parmigiana to it, but that spicy rigatoni stands perfect on its own. Even though the chicken parmigiana was so tender and juicy, it wasn't necessary on the rigatoni, but my partner wanted chicken too. We also got a focaccia mortadella sandwich, house made meatballs with ricotta and a cannolo sicilia. Every bite was followed by mmmmmm lol we will be returning customers. Thank you so much and we hope one day you will open up a restaurant ❤️.
If you're in the Redondo Beach area and want some Italian food, keep looking. This is a half ass attempt at food. The meatballs have no substance, clearly frozen too many times. The meatball dish had more ricotta than anyone or 4 people could eat. The garlic bread is chewy, not hard, but like it's been in a humidifier with a heat lamp for 2 days. I ordered a crispy ball thing that felt like a fried mac n cheese ball but tasted like over soggy rice. The lasagna was almost as good as a TV dinner. I had to throw it away $70 for inedible food. Save your money or order Taco Bell, at least then you know your ordering trash.
After being told my order would be ready in 15 minutes, I had to wait an hour and a half to pick up my order. The icing on the cake was getting what I did not even order. Never again
Catered from Amo today , the guests and I loved it (kids too)!
Will definitely order again.
For my latest short movie production, I was on the hunt for a catering company that could deliver delicious food without breaking the bank. I found exactly what I was looking for in Amo Italia.
From the moment I met Cinzia and Gaetano, it was clear they were dedicated to making our production a success. They were incredibly understanding of our budget constraints and went out of their way to accommodate our diverse dietary needs.
The food they provided was nothing short of amazing. The entire cast and crew were raving about it, and I've never seen food disappear so quickly! Amo Italia offers a wide variety of cuisines, from classic Italian to American and international dishes, ensuring there's something for everyone.
If you're looking for a catering company that is not only professional and kind but also committed to providing exceptional food, Amo Italia is your answer. They have a keen eye for food restrictions and allergies and offer a variety of options to cater to all dietary needs.
I highly recommend Amo Italia for your next film production. You won't be disappointed!
Dietary restrictions: They have any sort of dietary restrictions and they are personalizing their dishes depending on your dietary needs!

The food is EXCELLENT!!!! Don’t be put off by it being a ghost kitchen, everyone has to start somewhere. I know it is cliche but their Southern Italian style of cooking is just like my mama’s . You can taste the freshness in all their ingredients. The marinara sauce is superb, the quality in their tomatoes speaks volumes . The ravioli is made by hand in their kitchen and are perfect. The texture and cook of the pasta is spot on. The seal of the pasta is done correctly because the is no water leakage into the cheese center and the thickness of the past dough is correct. The cheese filling was full of flavor and it was stuffed with a nice amount. The ravioli were pillowy. This was a great ravioli and the portion was good, definitely enough for me to share and not miss one. The spicy rigitoni was excellent. Once again the sauce was fresh, not acidic with the right amount of heat. (I kept stealing some from my husband’s plate.) We did share our dishes because everything was so good and cooked to perfection. When food is that good you just have to share. Now the plate that spoke to my soul was the Arancini, brought me right back to my child hood with my Nonno(my Sicilian Grandfather, he would make these for me all the time). Nice and crisp on the outside with tender Arborio rice flavored with saffron (which to me is so important that’s how Grandpa made them for me. ) and stuffed with a beautiful ragu and mozzarella cheese. These are a must have with any order. Their food is great, made with love and it will speak to your soul. You can tell when food is cooked with passion. We will definitely be regular customers. Just call Chef Vincenza and her Chef husband Gaetano with your order, you don’t have to place it on line if you don’t want to. The building says “Food Pickup “. You just walk up to the window and tell them which restaurant you are there for and they will bring out your food. Don’t worry about the food set aside for the delivery people in the lockers, It is as simple as that. There is a parking lot in the back of the building with ample spots. They are the nicest people, and they make fantastic food. We will be back soon and I’m spreading the word around too.

The chef/owner-operator of this Lawndale-based ghost kitchen and his wife are both such nice people~friendly, accommodating and very welcoming. And, the food that is prepared in their kitchen space is divine! Everything that I have tried at this establishment has blown me away with its quality of ingredients, expert preparation and freshness of taste. My most recent order consisted of lobster ravioli in a vodka sauce, eggplant parmigiana and tiramisu for dessert. Each dish was perfectly prepared and amazingly delicious! The lobster ravioli, in particular, was exceptional--pillowy pouches of lobster filling in a supremely luxurious pink sauce, studded with fresh-tasting grape tomatoes. Creamy, melt-in-your mouth decadence. Fantastic!

If you told me this food came from a hospital cafeteria I would not be surprised. This place has bad vibes, all automated with robots running around and lockers for food like an Amazon warehouse. Food is priced similar to a decent restaurant so why would you ever come here unless you need bulk catering. Made the mistake of ordering here thinking it was an actual restaurant and am very regretful.

Amo Italian offers an authentic Italian and delightful menu with traditional favorites and innovative twists.. The pasta dishes, particularly the homemade fettuccine Alfredo is always cooked to perfection, embodying the delicate balance of creamy and savory flavors. I highly recommend.

I picked up my order in an "under construction" hub-type building where there are 2 pick-up windows and two tablets on the wall, basically a pick-up station for Door Dash or Uber Eats that serves several restaurants. There is no actual restaurant there, so Lord only knows where the food is prepared and how they can have it ready in 10 or 15 minutes. There was no room to check my order there, but when I got home and opened it, I was sadly disappointed. For $2.00, you get one tiny, kid-sized, soggy slice of garlic bread. The $6.00 Bruschetta consists of the same one tiny piece of bread with some cherry tomatoes on top. We ordered Fettuccine Alfredo, Spaghetti with Chicken Parmigiana (the chicken parm. was decent,) and Penne with fresh Basil Pesto. All of the pasta sauces were flavorless. I understand no salt, but all of them were the blandest I've ever tasted. I ordered 2 "Combos" which are supposed to come with 2 sides. You have to choose AND pay for the sides in addition to the price of the "combo" they are NOT included. The Caesar salad comes with about a teaspoon of dressing. My family was beyond disappointed. I was hoping I'd found a new local spot for good pasta, but no such luck. I should be refunded all of the $96 I paid, which included the mandatory tip. There was no service, so I don't know how they have the audacity to make you pay a tip.
