I eat at the El Amigo restaurants almost every week. It's my favorite Mexican food around Socal, especially their tacos.
Order at the counter and they'll bring it out. They always promptly serve chips and salsa as soon as I sit down after ordering. The workers are always friendly and happy you are there. And it's affordable with plenty of options.
This location doesn't have alcohol but El Amigo #3 does if you care for that.

Excellent chips & steak nachos It’s almost impossible to a place that had homemade chips anymore. Everything on the steak nachos was fresh, flavorful and great quality. Prices were great too, especially for the quality chips, meat, guacamole and chips. Parking is a hassle but didn’t want to knock it because as long as quality & prices stay great I don’t care. Lots of meat options for the tacos too.
This place is the best authentic Mexican food by far. My favorite is their huge wet burrito. They also have a large selection of drinks. From fountain drinks to bottled soft drinks and beer. Believe me, you won’t regret paying them a visit.

Considering the fact that I eat Carne Asada burritos, wet and dry at least two times a week. This is probably in the top 10 of all time. The price is very reasonable as the service was quick. The food was very fresh with a generous portion and the flavors were just incredible. I’ll probably come back this week. Absolutely outstanding!!!
