Really cool space near downtown Coeur D'Alene. This is a vegan/plant based restaurant that only serves organic, soy and gluten free foods with zero chemicals or preservatives, and everything is made in house. It is basically a raw vegan restaurant, with nothing (except their fabulous gluten free bread) cooked beyond about 115-120 degrees, which preserves all vitamins and nutrients. Recently in Coeur d'Alene on a vacation and we were tired of asking regular restaurants to "veganize" their dishes, or just eating sides. One bite at Plant Gossip and our reaction was "Oh my, this is real food! And it's really good!" I had the Yucatan power bowl, and my wife had the jackfruit tacos. Excellent!

We were visiting beautiful Coeur d‘Alene and searching for a place to eat lunch. As vegans, it can often be difficult to find good food when traveling. If you come to this town, DO NOT MISS A VISIT TO PLANT GOSSIP. I think this is by far the best plant based restaurant we have been in. I had the split pea soup and the sloppy joe burger while my wife had the cabbage tacos with forbidden patty. Updated from previous review on 2025-07-19
