What a cool hidden gem! We stopped here on a whim and ordered pupusas of frijol and queso and jalapeño - super delicious! We also had the Maracuya and champurrado! Definitely coming back for this awesome food and service. Really loved the service and friendly staff and clientele :)
This is one of the finest Salvadorian spots I've ever eaten at! As a Frazier Park Local it's tough to find good places to eat out here. I'm pleased to report what a wonderful experience this is. The pupusas have perfect flavor and texture, and the curtido it comes with is at a whole 'nother level. The plato de pollo is also amazing. If you are in the mountains here you have to make sure to stop by; you won't be disappointed!!!
We got off the 5 freeway at the Gorman exit and noticed that almost everything is closed down. So we started looking for taco trucks and were pleasantly surprised to find Armida's. It's tucked away behind McDonald's next to a car repair place.
