Don Perico Cantina and Grill

I get to eat here a lot since I work close by. I must say their service is always fantastic and they keep the spot clean regularly. Rates are fair and they serve generous portions.

Excelent service, so smooth and timely, up to 3 waiting on us working in sink...we had a party of 10 no reservations for my daughter's birthday, the bar drinks were good, every dish was abundant and beautifully garnished, ever vegetable crisp and fresh looking...my compliments to the chef behind the scenes...a lovley experience!!

This place must have been really nice in the past. The place is need of some maintenance but the food was OK. They have a friendly bar and one of these days I will try the dinner menu. I have only been there for lunch.

Great Mexican restaurant at the bottom of the hill. Stopped in for lunch and everyone was satisfied. The salsa was amazing and the food was delicious. I got the Muy Grande chimichanga, this thing is a monster! I am a pretty big eater and it was enough for two meals. I think it was only about$14 too! Also the waiter was great!

This place is a hidden gem. While the building itself needs remodeling the staff and food are phenomenal. My wife and I travel the country and were pleasantly surprised. Nestled here at the foot of the grapevine this place didn’t look like much. In need of updating it is quite surprising. Let’s start with Flavio . This mans demeanor just makes you feel right at home. Smiling, whistling, and very friendly. The cook Jose was just as pleasant and man could he make a dish! My wife had the #13 combination. Her only complaint was that the dish needed Hatch Green Chili’s instead of Anaheim Peppers. But the Anaheim’s were good. I had the Fajitas Mixtecas. They were perfectly seasoned and more than one person could eat. Thanks guys for the experience. We will be back! On the downside is the bathrooms while the food was terrific and the staff was friendly the bathrooms and the building definitely needed work.

Exhausted from bad weather over the grapevine on Interstate 5 in California, we were thrilled to find Don Perico Mexican Restaurant. Casual, cozy, warm and welcoming staff. There was only a family of parents with a young child in the restaurant with us, and they were comfortable as well. Great food, good portions, good cocktails and reasonable prices. I recommend u stop there before or after traveling The Grapevine.

Tried the barbacoa and was good, then tried tacos de pollo and the pollo was to dry like heated on microwave oven, customer service great, ambience nice

Understaffed. Awful food. Way too expensive. Not worth the hard earned cash.

Oh my Gosh my second time I just drove 9 hours to get to this place I got one burrito the last time an I was half way finish before I made it to the freeway!! I’m buy three this time one for tonight one for a friend an one for tomorrow!! If you have not tried this place it’s a must at the Grapevine!! Tell your whole family a must travel to for good food!! An they have eighteen wheeler parking

I was booked at a hotel next door, was very hungry from a day of driving and took my chances to order takeout. I'm so glad I did. My combo' was a Cheese Enchilada, Pork Tamale, Rice & Beans. The sauce for the Enchilada was yummy, not sweet or gloppy. The Tamale was hot with green chile inside that I didn't expect and the green chile sauce was delicious. Very rarely do I bother with the rice in Mexican restaurants but the Spanish Rice was delicious. They also have Mexican sodas, so I enjoyed a genuine, cane sugar Coca Cola. I'll eat here again.
