There’s a lot to like about staying here. Small, clean rooms with a quaint garden area. The cafe has pretty good coffee and excellent food. And the folks there are super friendly. The one drawback is the proximity to the road. If a good night’s sleep is a priority, look elsewhere. During the night, anytime a tractor trailer went by, the building felt like it was shaking and the windows rattled. It was very loud. It felt like an earthquake. I slept awful. If you generally sleep like a rock, then I highly recommend.
The cafe is super adorable! Lots of space outdoors, very sunny pic-a-nic-y vibe, peaceful and gorgeous views everywhere! Drinks were super tasty, we tried their homemade chai and their Mexican espresso (Fuerte), it’s a real kicker but very good and we are now ready for the park! Thank you! HIGHLY RECOMMEND FILLING UP ON GAS before or in Mammoth. Gas is astronomical 🥹
Basic but tidy and clean rooms, the farthest room was out of range for wifi but the garden was more than pleasant to spend time in where the coverage was good. Cafe and food was much better than another hotel restaurant near by.
Would stay here again
Delicious coffee. Fast and friendly service. Nicely decorated.

We stayed at the Lee Vining Motel. We had to pick up the keys across the street, the rooms were newly renovated. We slept in the back, it was quiet there. It could be a little more attractive in front of the door. So ok.

Had a very small comfortable room. Shared bathroom. Fine for a one night stay. Beautiful gardens full of perennial blooms. Fresh baked goods, delicious sandwiches, and fresh coffee available.

Stopped briefly for a café on the way to Yosemite… Service quite unfriendly, but coffee was very tasty ☕️!
Sweet outdoor area where you can sit comfortably and enjoy your coffee!
The motel and cafe were great!
The room itself was very clean and fairly modern.
They allowed us to do an after hours check in which was perfect for arriving late.
The sandwiches from the cafe were also delicious and the staff were nice and friendly.

Very nice motel and cafe in the middle of Lee Vining. The proprietors are very welcoming and helpful, the rooms and facilities are clean and well maintained, and the bed and pillows are top notch. It is right on 395, which has traffic at all hours, but earplugs helped. The coffee and sandwiches are very good and the prices are reasonable. Would definitely stay here again should the opportunity arise.
Noteworthy details: Beautiful gardens surround three sides and allow for sun, shade, and either holing up with a book or making acquaintances with the numerous visitors to the excellent coffee and sandwiches cafe incorporated into the motel.
