Roasted red pepper tomato soup and a salad for lunch was perfect! They brew sun tea too 😍

The birds are aggressive about getting your food!

My husband and I were there a couple weeks ago, to have lunch. Love the place it was like a oasis. With the outdoor sitting, big shade trees. Plush green grass . And cool breeze passing through. The food was great reasonable and plenty of it. And the staff were very welcoming and friendly 😊

It was very hard to find a restaurant nearby open after 8PM with good reviews. I am so glad we chose this restaurant. We came all the way from Florida and spent the day at Yosemite. The food was amazing, the staff was very helpful and attentive. The outdoor seating is a whimsical garden, so beautiful! This is a small town treasure.

I would recommend this place to anyone coming through town. The food was so good and the staff is so kind! I’m so thankful for this delicious food after a long day spent at Yosemite.

This little gem deserves 5 stars. The food was some of the best we've had since travelling around the U.S. for the last 2 weeks. It's the start of the season so the front of house are backpackers and learning the ropes but are very friendly and accomadating. We have been here twice so far on our stay.

The food was very good, but a bit on the pricey side. The inside dining area is small. You order at the front, instead of having table service. I would definitely go again. The have Elk burgers if you want to try something different.

We came from the park when it was still very warm and we stopped here to have a cola and a coffee. There was also a piece of cake that was homemade and very tasty. I recommend sitting in the garden if the weather permits it's really beautiful

I was blown away by the Basin Cafe. I can't believe it only has 4.3 stars. The servers were all so sweet, the menu was pretty extensive and what I ordered was ah-maze-ing. I got the salmon and curried veggies and rice. I was blown away, so rich and flavorful. Salmon cooked just right. It was the perfect mountain meal after a long day of hiking. The setting was really charming and lovely with the twinkle lights. If you're looking for a homemade meal with an obviously great chef, this is the spot!

Typical national park price gouging restaurant. The burgers are $25 and are very mediocre. Yes, $25 for a crummy hamburger. This place is fine if you are very, very hungry after a hike. Very slow service. None of us would ever eat here again.

I ordered an elk burger and it was enormous 🙂 the price was around $25, so it seemed steep to me at first, but once I saw how big the meat was and how much bacon they added on top, I stayed corrected - great value!

Sierra wave burrito looked really good too (I haven't tried, but saw it on another table)

They also have quite a few vegetarian options.

The service was fast too, I think we waited not more than 10 minutes.
