The food was very good, but a bit on the pricey side. The inside dining area is small. You order at the front, instead of having table service. I would definitely go again. The have Elk burgers if you want to try something different.
We came from the park when it was still very warm and we stopped here to have a cola and a coffee. There was also a piece of cake that was homemade and very tasty. I recommend sitting in the garden if the weather permits it's really beautiful
I was blown away by the Basin Cafe. I can't believe it only has 4.3 stars. The servers were all so sweet, the menu was pretty extensive and what I ordered was ah-maze-ing. I got the salmon and curried veggies and rice. I was blown away, so rich and flavorful. Salmon cooked just right. It was the perfect mountain meal after a long day of hiking.
