We went for our anniversary and the food was spectacular. By far the best food on the east side!
The gem of the Eastern Sierra. Hands down, this is the best dining experience on 395. No detail is overlooked: the food, the service, the ambience (OMG that view!), the mixology, the decor. Absolutely worth the drive.
Tastes and appearance were unique and were great and will never be experienced elsewhere that I can imagine. Presentation and service was outstanding as well as wait staff who explained what all items were. It was a unique enjoyable experience to us. Just a shame it is 260 miles from where we live.
Mono Inn is incredible! Michelin-level fine dining in the most unlikely but spectacular location. Seasonal, thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented dishes. Excellent service. If you are visiting Yosemite and looking for a unique dining experience, make that drive to the Eastern entrance of the park and go to Mono Inn. You'll be glad you did!
Probably the best meal I've had all year. Food was expertly prepared, and was interesting without being crazy or intimidating. Service was perfect: attentive, but not intrusive. Definitely a special-occasion place, but well worth the price.
Off the beaten path but well worth the trip. 5 stars is short of accurate only because there’s not an option for 6.

Fantastic food and a spectacular view of Mono Lake. We try and make it over there at least once a year. The experience never disappoints.
Outstanding food and drinks. I think this place could get s Michelin star if they wanted one. I would like to see some new items on the menu. It is about a 6 course tasting menu. Very Very good. I have been there twice.

Had a very nice time trying the Summer tasting menu. Great flavors created and paired with great wines. This is a wonderfully different place than what you usually find in the Eastern Sierras.
The restaurant was too cold which made me uncomfortable the whole time, and the wait staff need to speak a little louder. Can’t wait to come back.

The experience was everything we'd hope for and more. If you haven't eaten at Mono Inn yet—— do it!

The Mono Inn is spectacular! A wonderful culinary experience with views of the lake. I would highly recommend this to all other experiences in the Sierras.
Honestly this was one of the WORST service experiences we have ever had in our lives. We arrived at 6:20 for a 6:30 reservation (which totally threw them) and left before the final course at 9:15pm. Our servers NEVER checked in on us, they left an empty bottle of wine on our table the whole meal and never asked us if we wanted anything else to drink. We found the servers and hostess to be haughty and acting way above the station / caliber of the restaurant. Even worse they actually put the silverware on the wrong side of the plate. These are all BASIC things that a restaurant should have down let alone one charging a $125 prix fix menu. The shame of it is that the quality and the inventiveness of the food was excellent. We will never go back again. 🤯😩
I treated my sister for her birthday and we both enjoyed the amazingly creative small plated food items. The chef called me before we arrived at the restaurant to discuss food preferences as my sister preferred certain types of meat. The service was great too and the view of Mono Lake looked so picture perfect that it seemed like an oil painting. This was a great experience and I would heartily recommend Mono Inn Restaurant!
Absolutely fantastic dining experience, the best I've ever had. Top level Michelin style cuisine with fantastic service.
This 3 hour experience to savor the 5 course tasting menu exceeded my expectations! Ravishing presentation (I felt like I was consuming art!), scrumptious tastes to savor, impeccable service, stunning views ~ and I didn't even have to dress up (which would have been a challenge as we were camping). The Mono Inn hold decades of memories for me and it was super special to enjoy the evening there and to meet Chef Jason briefly. Bravo!!
