The owner's son was friendly and personable. It's not a fancy place but the quality of the food is excellent. My husband could only eat half of his shredded beef burrito because it was so large! I had a local fish Taco and a shrimp Taco and both were tasty and a good portion of food. We will definitely return on our next trip to Coronado.
There were 5 of us and we all ordered the grilled cheese. Been driving past their truck for 4 years and finally went, what took us so long I don't know. The owner and staff are fantastic and can't wait to bring other people. It is in a hot parking lot that have covered tables and we did stay for almost 2 hours

I visited their food truck location for lunch and ended up ordering more food to bring home. From my understanding this place created the birria grilled cheese sandwich--and it shows. From the fresh ingredients to the consommé, Birrieria La Loteria is unbeatable. Make sure to grab the orange salsa!
