I purchased a 1/2 lbs Bacon Guacamole Cheese ? Steer?. Me and My Lady Split One between Us. Way too much lettuce. The so-called ? didn't even melt and you couldn't tell if was on the sandwich. It looked like opaque plastic. That was the Swiss ?. I, didn't taste any. I couldn't find the Cheddar cheese ? spread on the ?. It was dry with no flavor. Not even Salt & Pepper, Mayo, Mustard or Ketchup. They charge $11.99. And My Girlfriend got sick and her Stomach evicted Her half of the sandwich after 40 minutes. The Last time I went to Boll Weevil was 1978. It was better back in the Days.

The food is always fresh. I have tried the fried shrimp, deep fried zucchini, chicken strips and the burgers. The burgers are above average in size and taste, the chicken strips are fresh and flavorful, and the deep fried zucchini comes out smoking hot.

Went on a Friday night. There was no one here. One other couple was here. They locked us in the restaurant as they were closing on Friday at 8pm. The soup was not very good. I had clam chowder. It seemed to be microwaved. Not the best Boll Weevil I have ever eaten at.

This Lemon Grove Boll Weevil is run by a nice couple who greet you with a smile. Service is fast and friendly. Our favorites are their trademark 1/2 & 1/4 lb. burgers and their chili. We usually enjoy a draft beer with our meal.
