The food is always fresh. I have tried the fried shrimp, deep fried zucchini, chicken strips and the burgers. The burgers are above average in size and taste, the chicken strips are fresh and flavorful, and the deep fried zucchini comes out smoking hot.
This Lemon Grove Boll Weevil is run by a nice couple who greet you with a smile. Service is fast and friendly. Our favorites are their trademark 1/2 & 1/4 lb. burgers and their chili. We usually enjoy a draft beer with our meal.
When I visited this place, we elected to dine at another restaurant and then go to Boll Weevil for desert. The place was empty and we figured we would be okay to score a sundae after our meal. The sign in the window said they were open until 8 pm and we were done eating by pm. Boll Weevil was closed up and it was a Saturday night. That is just poor management and or the place is off the beaten track and nobody is going to it for that reason. The parking is tight and I am sure...
