Every time I'm in the San Diego area I love to come here and get their rolled tacos. They are absolutely the best. Their other food is very good too. Love it.

Walked in and asked for a large pepperoni pizza, all I got in response was a sassy “no” and the waitress walked off like they don’t have a massive sign out front advertising hot and ready pizza. At least take the sign down if you don’t offer that product anymore

I just walked out of this place. Music is blasting. It’s so loud everyone is yelling to communicate to the waitress’s and the cooks. I gave up waiting because I sat at the bar for 4 songs and didn’t get acknowledged or anything. One of the customers tried to help me get the attention of someone so I could order because it was ridiculous and the waitress shook her head yes like she was going to help me next, but then kept doing other stuff and I couldn’t deal with the loud speakers any longer. Worst service and atmosphere I’ve ever had. My head hurts. One lady who walked out with me said it’s always that loud and they have people complaining on Facebook. Terrible restaurant!

El Cilantro has good portions, great Mexican food, and best of all, *very* affordable prices. They don't sacrifice quality. I'd put their street tacos up against any of the trendy spots that charge 5 times as much. Staff is always pleasant and service is quick.

The torta combo is so large it is two meals for me (large torta/large fries) all for less than your average Del Taco bill for 1 person.

Real Mexican food for *less* than "Mexican style" fast food.

I've ordered online twice....and each time, the food isn't cooked when I get there. They put the order in after I arrive. Suggestion, dont order through the Clover service, that's where I've had problems. I can't speak for the other online ordering options but proceed with caution.

So I come here atleast one to two times per week for over a year now. The food is good . No one can beat there prices at all. But the girls taking your order suck big time. Working in the restaurant field before I would have fired all there girls or gave them a coaching on how to effectively, efficiently and happily take care of the customers. They act like they hate there job and to busy showing there blown up fake butt's. Seriously the owner needs to handle this. He could easily have more customers than what he has. Get some girls in there that want to be good waitresses because what you have is the worst and that is why I won't tip.

Cute little place has potential. I've only tried one item so far do can't really say how the food is in general. I got the rolled tacos they were okay. Maybe if they were fried for a couple more seconds they would have been tastier. The salsa that came with it was good. There is parking in the shopping center. One of the things that stands out is the prices the food items seem pretty cheap or well priced. With some TLC it could be a good place with nice environment it has potential but as far as the food I would give it a 3/5 for now until I try more items.

Vegetarian options: Some options or modify dishes to be without meat. There are also a couple of seafood options for pescatarians.

Parking: Parking lot usually there are open spots.

Kid-friendliness: There was a family with small children enjoying a meal.

Went by 7/18 2024 paddle lock on door??? Are they closed 7/25 cook in back said they open at 10 am. I may check back in 2025 till then don't know what is going on but not worth drive by look.

Food is great love the pizza and birrira Ramen but service is slow and poor poor girl has to do it all alone but still bad service I had to wait for my to go containers for over 20 mintues
