Come here everyday. I fondly call it "the kitchen". I am the turkey guy and this place is the best sandwich shop I've ever gone too. Plus the variety of root beer and other soda flavors is amazing. Staff is super cool and quick and has a very nice old town vibe.

I keep coming back... but with some caution. Day-old bread. It's been happening here. Obviously, stale, wrinkled day-old bread has been used on my full $14 sandwich. Old bread makes a major difference. I worked in a sandwich shop, and I know day-old bread. More than once, my sandwich had the ONE ingredient I specifically asked to be left off: olives. Mistakes can be made, but more than once? No olives is not that complex. Delicious sandwiches, but they need to use fresh bread, every day, all the time. Employees should be wearing gloves when touching our food. Saw people swiping their nose and then working. Gross. I want to support local mom and pop businesses, but this place needs to get with the times. Harsh? Yes, but true. All of these things are easily remedied.

The best place for grinder sandwiches. Yes, there are other good ones, but this place has been here and consistent for many years. A treasure of Lemon Grove and worth the pilgrimage from afar. The sandwiches are generous and reasonably priced. And the soda selection is mindblowing! Go here just to get a small batch soda you have never heard of!

A colleague recommended this establishment during my business trip to lemon grove. I am glad I tried it, I got a tuna sandwich with a side of potato salad some chips ana a coke. The potato salad was the best I've ever had, delicious ? my tuna sandwich was also deliciously tasty. I most definitely recommend this place. 10/10
