Fine dining simply isn't enough to sum up our experience at the Lemon Grove Bistro. For our 2025 Employee Appreciation Luncheon, this Lemon Grove gem was our host of choice. From a five-star meal to a savory presidential dessert, the Lemon Grove Bistro does not disappoint.

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Lemon Grove Bistro for catering the reception in their beautiful garden patio after my father’s funeral. The service was excellent, with great attention to detail in every aspect. The food was delicious, and the hospitality made us feel truly cared for during such a difficult time.
The staff was incredibly accommodating, allowing us to display our loved one’s photos and bring special flower arrangements for the tables. They even helped us prepare everything ahead of time, ensuring that the gathering was as smooth and stress-free as possible. Knowing that our reception was in such good hands gave us confidence and peace of mind.
I’m sure many of our attendees will remember this experience and return to the bistro. I certainly look forward to my next visit.

We live in Poway which is about 25 miles away from Lemon Grove Bistro but decided to give it a try. Well worth the drive.....delicious food, the fisherman stew was particularly outstanding,efficient service and most certainly,fairly priced. We had heard good things about the restaurant and our dining experience was a most delightful one.

Very nice rebuild of the old bakery. Excellent food with generous portions. The inside is a little noisy but there is LOTS of outdoor seating. We were there for lunch and it was excellent.

Less than 15min from Gaslamp Quarter / San Diego, this beautiful restaurant is totally worth the ride. The food is very tasteful, the service and owner amazingly attentive and friedly. We absolutely enjoyed it. Had the rooasted bone marrow, mussels & clams, caprese salad and house made meatloaf - delicious. Highly recommended.

We were here for their first anniversary dinner with a prix fixe menu where we chose a shrimp scampi appetizer, beef filet, halibut, and chocolate budino desert. It was all excellent and very reasonably priced. I also had lunch there and had beef short ribs which were great. The service is wonderful, helpful, friendly, efficient without hurrying you. This is my new favorite restaurant! Try it!
First time here we were in the area and wanted to try somewhere new. Got super lucky Food was amazing. Staff was amazing. We had the mushroom ravioli, short ribs, and penne vodka chicken. We will be back to try everything else and will bring some friends. Must try place!

The burgers were perfect. The caprese salad was scrumptious and the eggplant sandwich outstanding. I haven't had a bad offering, yet. We look forward to next visit. The staff is welcoming, professional and accomodating. There are so many items I want to try.

Loved the taste of everything, service and atmosphere!!! Seafood paella was just amazing and I enjoyed every bite of it. Comes with a lot of seafood as well as creamy risotto rice. Shrimp scampi was outstanding too, with the perfect amount of garlic and spices. While chicken was good, I would go with a different option. And their draft beer choice is impressive as well. Loved Cali Creaming ???

This is a new little gem in Lemon Grove. We had a reservation which was a good idea otherwise we would not have been able to be seated there. The wait staff was very good, attentive but not hovering. It was a little noisy, but not too bad. The tables are large, and I felt very far away from my friend. The food was excellent. It was hard to decide on what to order. My friend had the seasonal flatbread and Ceasar salad with a beautiful piece of salmon on it. I had the beef bourguignon with mashed potatoes. It was so wonderful!! It was a toss-up between that and the short ribs. I will be back.

Service was amazing, outdoor patio was serene with the butterfly garden and food was delicious! Patio would be the perfect place to have an event as it was a large space. Can’t wait to return and try more items off the menu.
