With my wedding just a month away, I’ve been having so much fun preparing the menu and exploring different restaurants to create a beautiful variety of flavors and nationalities for our reception. I sampled chicken from four different spots around Los Angeles—each one had something going for it, but none felt quite right for our big day. One was a bit dry, another a little too crispy, and another slightly too salty. Just when I was considering renting a large barbecue grill and cooking the chicken myself, a friend suggested I try this restaurant. It’s a true hole-in-the-wall spot tucked along a very busy street—exactly the kind of hidden gem you might overlook. In fact, on the day I stopped by, there were multiple emergency vehicles less than a block away. That might make some people hesitate, but I decided to trust the recommendation and give it a try. I ordered the half chicken meal—and I’m so glad I did! It was absolutely delicious. The flavor, tenderness, and seasoning were spot on. Even my son agreed, and he hadn’t liked any of the other chicken options I brought home for him to taste. In the end, the incredible taste made it completely worth stepping a little outside my comfort zone. Without a doubt, this is the chicken we’ll be serving at our wedding reception. I’m so happy to have found the perfect place!

There was a man ahead of us who took like 40 chickens per hdrpm! And I suppose that to get everything out quickly for those of us who were waiting, when I get home with my order, I realize that the chicken was given to me almost raw.
