I ordered the Chile Verde plate... just so so; too watered down with no taste. Pork was dry. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice, though. Would order something different the next time. My friend ordered the wet burrito and seemed to enjoy it

Love, love, love the food here! Came from Lancaster, CA with a group meet in Palmdale for a birthday party. It was my 1st time and I thought they went for the drinks or something but, no! They went for the food and drinks. Schooners style beers iced glasses and margaritas flights. THE FOOD IS PROBABLY THE BEST MEXICAN I'VE HAD EVER. I absolutely love El Torreo in Palmdale near quartz hill, thats my favorite in the AV. Medranos is good too. But, this place has the best El Royal wet burrito because unlike most carne asada burritos, this carne asade is made different, served in big grilled pieces, and the pricing is very competable. Only a 12 minute drive from Palmdale, CA.
