“My wife and I were in the area for the Leona Divide trail run - and ate at Jack's Place twice for dinner. Badge burger and fries/onion rings with IPAs on one night (after the race) and Pesto pasta and Greek salad with Zinfandel wine on the 2nd night. Both meals were excellent - service was perfect - fun to sit and chat with some locals. Highly recommend if you are in the area!”

“WOW! This place is phenomenal! Worth the drive and worth the price. My husband and I split the tomahawk and it was like BUTTER! So tender! I had the Cowboy Wake Up Call Old Fashioned and it was AMAZING! They safeguard their recipes and I can see why! This cocktail is one of my favorite bourbon cocktails I have ever had! The grits are also so flavorful and many people in our party (who don't even like grits) raved about the flavor of them.”

“Great food and service and ambiance! Ordered Red snapper sandwich with fries & shrimp with creole sauce and black beans. Had a wonderful Pinot noir. A bit expensive at 18$ a glass but incredibly delicious! We had coffee & flan for dessert! Yum! Will be back!”

“Old fashion service, great food variety and a nostalgic feeling of yesteryear are just a few of the cool things I like about Crazy Otto's. Took a friend there last week that I hadn't seen in years and the staff graciously allowed us to spend time catching up. Had not been to Otto's since 2003 but whenever I'm back in the AV, I will be back!”

“Started going there with my Friends. It is one of our Birthday Celebration Meet-ups. The food is great, with attention to detail. 4 out of the 5 times I've been the service has been excellent. The last visit, middle of the week, for lunch for some reason there was only (1) server, who also had to do bar which, slowed things down quite a bit, but he did great under the circumstances. Other than that one experience, I highly recommend this place.Parking: Open parking in a strip mall. So far no issues finding a place to park.”

My sister and I always come here for their matcha (literally best matcha anywhere in the av area) and whenever we change our go to order we're never disappointed by their overall quality in their drinks. The employees are always super nice and the shop itself is spacious and super clean. Best boba shop in the av area honestly especially since you can change their sweetness.”

“I took my wife out for a date night and we absolutely loved it! The food was a 10/10, we got the dinner for 2, started off with our calamari and the sauce was phenomenal. The calamari we’ve had before at other restaurants was nothing like this, it was crispy cooked to perfection. Then we got our steak, cooked perfect medium rare with a side of potatoes and charred asparagus. The sauce on the steak was amazing and we’ve never had anything like it. The steak was tender and juicy, probably one of the best steaks I’ve ever had and the wine paired perfectly. We then finished off with our chefs dessert which was a hazelnut tart and it was delicious. Frankie was our server and he was so attentive, he recommended us a house bread with all our food and the butter was so good. 10/10 would recommend to anyone will be back soon!”

“Saw it on Cupcake Wars years ago & My Mom, Daughter & I went ordered a few different ones & they were all FABULOUS. Then, in January 2024, we were celebrating my Mom's 85th & my Grandsons 1st Birthday in Palmdale, so my daughter wanted to do cupcakes from Nadias. What a great idea. We were able to get a variety & a slightly bigger cupcake for the Birthday Boy. They were just as good as we remembered. My favorite on both times I visited was the Cheesecake with fruit & the lemon cupcake. All were very good though.”

“Came here for breakfast since they open at 10am and I was not disappointed. The food was amazing! I got the dumpling noodle soup with beef, tonkatsu ramen, chicken fried rice, and egg rolls! And let me say, wow!! Everything was simply delicious! Got an espresso as well which definitely helped me jump start my day. Would definitely recommend coming here!Parking: Lots of space available.”

“One Stop Bakery has been our go-to cake place for a few years now!!! This time did not disappoint. I had requested the cake for a day that was pretty full. They worked with a few ideas I had found for the cake and made it happen!! The cake was both beautiful and delicious! We always get so many compliments. They even gave us a tiny version of the cake to have my 1 year old smash! Thank you guys for always making our cakes special!!”

“This is an honest review. Coming from a Mexican background, tamales were always a staple in our home. With that being said, I tried for lulus tamales for the first time today. I bought the mole and green chicken tamales. They were both pretty flavorful and very hefty tamales as well but the only thing I'd say is that the chicken was a little tough or dry . Aside from that, they were pretty good”

“This is one of those gems of a chain in California that you can't find on the east coast. This restaurant has made it so much easier to go pescatarian, eat healthier, and avoid red meat and antibiotics-laden chicken. You can get wild-caught fish here too, like mahi mahi! The glazes and sauces don't wow me but are pretty good and satisfying.”

I got the camarones Mexicanos and would absolutely recommend it. the number of options was astounding and the seasoning was great if I were to offer any improvements they would be paper take out containers(they offered aluminum in place of styrofoam out of kindness) I would update the playlist with a few more songs maybe play different songs”

“BIG BOWL OF BIRRIAWent there today.... The food was very good... I just had one issue... They should really have a picture on the menu of the birria in a big giant bowl the way they actually serve it in the restaurant... I almost didn't buy any because their menu doesn't show the huge bowl of birria... The menu actually shows it in some kind of plastic container, which is a "no go" for me... So I almost left without buying it but my friend pressured me into buying it... And then it came... A big giant beautiful bowl of birria in a ceramic bowl... It was delicious... I recommend it to everyone... So if you don't see the big bowl in the restaurant menu.... Fear not coz it's big and delicious... I kinda wish I would of gotten the girl who works there's name coz I kinda was rude to her because not seeing the bowl kinda made me mad... I wish I would of apologized to her... I hope she reads this review and accepts my apology... I was in a hurry to leave and didn't tell her directly... I'll do it next time I go coz the food was definitely very good and I'll be going back...”
