First we love the Buffet and It's still closed because of Covid-19. Second it may never open again which is very sad. The buffet brought older clients in and they came by hundreds. Family gathering, office parties, and large organizations gathered for Breakfast and lunch. This is the past tense now. The new thought seems to be a place to hang out for the younger generation. Rarely do I eat at casino buffets just becuz of how outrageously priced they are. But this one in the thunder valley casino costs as much as a regular meal. It was even a better deal with the players card discount and the cashier offered me a senior citizen discount. There was nothing exotic about the menu unless you consider prime rib special. There was a section for Mexican and Asian dishes. Since they called it brunch you could get breakfast items
Coming from Lake Tahoe & going back to bay area friends & i decided to go to a buffet for lunch so the younger ones could have more options. Cigarette smoke were filtering into banquet hall & we were seated next to dishwashing area: the sound of plates & utensils were annoying.
