Rooms are a little dated but clean and taken care of. The customer service is great and definitely makes up for any shortcomings. The food at the restaurant was good. I loved that there is something for everyone’s tastebuds. And again great customer service.

Christmas dinner:The mushroom bisque was delicious.Prime rib ×2 was ordered.No bread and butter available for dinner. You can't even order a side. The prime rib was only warm and had horseradish all over it, not on the side. The meat was unseasoned and stringey. Not a quality cut of meat.There was a tiny amount of mashed potatoes and lots of undercooked green beans.The Eggnog Creme Brule was bland, quite small and disappointing.Not the Little River Inn quality or enjoyable dinner of the past. Something has gone wrong.

Awful restaurant! The menu is simply unappetizing. There was only one dish that my husband was OK to order and one that I was OK to order. The soups, salads, and appetizers weren't even appetizing. They had no specials. The waitress said that was because their menu changes all the time but that is balderdash b/c I have watched their menu online over the last number of months and it hasn't changed at all. I had the risotto but they were out of the saffron to season it so it was not seasoned. It was also soupy and risotto should never be soupy. The service was lazy and erratic. The worst part was the automatic 20% "tip". What a load of garbage. NO WAY would we have tipped 20% for a lousy menu, lousy service, and mediocre food. Go to the MacCallum House for dinner instead.
