Azotea is a rooftop restaurant offering a very nice view of downtown Livermore and the beautiful green hills. The atmosphere and music is the best part. It is busy on Friday to Sunday, so making a reservation online or by call is recommended, as it is very hard to get an outside table for just walking in.
The service is great and the staff is very nice and very helpful, though some reviews note the service needs a lot of help, with a long wait for drinks. The drinks were good and the cocktails were worth trying out, including the house margaritas and Moscow mules. They have a great happy hour.
The food has been okay. Dishes include appetizers such as steak tacos, cocktail shrimps, shrimp with rice and vegetables, taquitos, and empanadas, which were pretty large and hearty. The Guacamole is really good. Chicken sliders were a little bland but cooked well. It is a bit pricey for the regular menu. Many people enjoy the experience for rooftop cocktails and appetizers and would visit again.
