Besides easy parking there is nothing redeeming about Bubbs Bagels. I went there today and tried 3 things, all were disappointing
For starters ordering was extremely slow even with a short line and then it took forever for food to come out. There were 7 people working, it wasn’t a staffing issue
I ordered my usual anywhere which is sourdough bagel with bacon and scallion cream cheese. The bagel they forgot to toast, it was stale and hardly any sourdough flavor, almost had the blah wheat taste. The cream cheese was excessive and gloopy, it was far too thin and splooged everywhere. Like they just tried whipping some green onions into cream cheese and didn’t let it set. One measly piece of bacon for $2. Overall this was flavorless and messy disappointment.
My husband had a bacon egg and cheese on everything bagel. The bagel was very salty.
We also got a blueberry bagel with butter. The butter didn’t even melt, it was so poorly toasted. The bagel had little flecks that I guess resembled blueberries, but definitely seemed like they took a plain dough and as an afterthought tossed some blueberry crumbs into it.
I do not recommend this place at all. Bagel Cafe and Bagel Street in Pleasanton are such better options.

Went inside to grab a drink while my car was charging.
They have an extensive menu of specialty coffee so I got a maple pecan latte.
It was incredible but a little on the sweet side.
I also got a toasted jalapeño cream cheese bagel with the scallion spread and an egg. It was very filling
This place is squeaky clean and has a large wheelchair accessible restroom.
Staff are super sweet. I will definitely stop by here again.

Randomly stopped in this plaza to charge my EV and decided to get a bagel. I got a plain bagel with lox shmear and an iced tea and wow it was delicious! I didn’t have any expectations but this was really good. The guys working there were also extremely nice. Great bagels and customer service! If I’m ever back in Livermore I will have to get this again.

These are really great bagels. The owner was very nice too!!
They did really good and they personalized my meal the way I asked. I was impressed with that. I had one of their specialties. With fried egg, fried spinach grilled onion and feta cheese. But I did it without the bagel that's just too much starch.

Best bagels ever!!!!!! Love coming here any day of the week and being greeted most kindly by their employees!! Their bagels are SO big, gourmet, fresh, chewy, and filling, and always have this sweet crunch on top that gives a perfect finish!! Their cream cheese is also perfection as it is super thick!! 🤤 Not to mention when you stop by get a chocolate chip cookie… They may not look the most appetizing, but they are SO YUMMY!!! I would come here over Noah’s Bagels any day!!! They don’t even compare!!!
