Only open 7 weekends a year, but their other location in Sonoma is open year round. Made it on one of those weekends on a Sunday. Wine tasting is 4 wines (1 white, 3 red) for $25. Typical size pours. Very limited selection available, nothing else open. Bottles are not cheap. They said they specialize in bold reds, but I didn't find them very bold compared to some other regions. This particular tasting was featuring their Sonoma wines rather than Livermore so that may be the reason. All the wines were easy to drink, but none impressed us. Tasting is set up in a garage where you taste at your own pace and go up to their table when you want your next pour. Small tables, open seating, all outdoors but covered/shaded. Beautiful property but it's a porta potty for customers. Service was minimal. The person pouring the wine didn't seem very knowledgeable. Just gave generic basic answers to my questions. I wouldn't come back, but I may give their Sonoma location a try one day
Love this place. Only open half a dozen times a year but well worth checking out. A bit cool and raining today but green and beautiful hills surrounding the winery.
The owner, Chris, is incredibly knowledgeable and always fun to talk to. Last week was my third tasting there and each time the service and wines have been excellent! Highly recommend!
The best Cab sauvignons I've ever had. The winemaker is a true artist. I've never had wine so perfectly balanced until caddis.
Killer award winning wine. Tiny little hidden place. Only open 7 weekends a year.
