It's a relaxing place to have a bite to eat or just a drink. They serve an elevated version of a typical taqueria, as well as some other items like omelettes and sandwiches.

Absolutely hated everything we ordered. The dips tasted like grocery store bought, not like freshly made. Drinks were also syrupy n low quality. The veggie pasta was raw , tasted like pasta in plain water. No cheesiness or seasoning whatsoever in the pasta. I wouldn't recommend this place.
Vegetarian options: No vegetarian options here except pasta and burger with frozen impossible patty, gross !

I should have known when I walked in and no one was there to eat. I initially thought the restaurant was closed. At 6:30pm you would think peak dinner time, but no, I was the only one there. I hate leaving bad reviews, but I've never had such a bad reaction to food at a restaurant before. I ordered the Walnut Chicken salad to start. When it came out, the smell coming off the chicken gave me an immediate gag response. Looking at it, you could tell it was frozen chicken, unflavored and probably boiled to temp cuz it was sitting on top of the cold salad mix, still steaming and wet from the boiling water it came out of. The salad was suppose to have strawberries and apples. Well, if you took one strawberry and sliced it into 10 thin slices, that was laid out around the plate for aesthetic purpose only. Same with the apple. Take a quarter slice of an apple and thinly sliced it into 10 strips and lay it on top of the strips of one strawberry strategically placed and there you have it. I'm not a picky eater. I can usually tolerate all kinds and quality of foods but this was inedible. I seriously wouldn't even feed it to my dog. The thing is, most restaurants, even if the food quality is bad, you can tell they genuinely try even though its poor. What this place is doing is criminal and in bad faith. They knowingly try to pass crap off as food and charge you for it. I could not wait to get out of that restaurant and had to go across the parking lot to a local Mexican Taqueria.

Calafia Kitchen has a fun atmosphere with unique menu offerings and a great selection of drinks! You can dine indoors under their colorful florals and neons or enjoy nice outdoor weather on their covered patio. On Thursday and Saturday nights they have a grill going out in front making the best street tacos with all kinds of different meat selections. Their prices are low compared to a lot of other restaurants and they offer both Happy Hour and the street tacos at especially good prices. We really enjoy coming here!

We hadn't heard of Calafia and came to check it out. All of us were happy with the menu, and the food is fresh and well done. Will definitely come back.

On July 27th in the morning , my wife visited their restaurant and ordered coffee and omelette ?. The omelette was really worst. They put frozen veggie which were not cooked properly and she saw some water in the plate . Unfortunately, she didn’t take the picture . But if needed we can show the transaction and everything.
Our purpose was to support neighborhood plaza because it’s the plaza which is not busy usually.

We were taking a drive from Los Angeles to Walnut Creek. We stopped in Liverpool to charge our vehicle. It looked like a nice place. We were not disappointed! The food was excellent. We had the Belgian waffles. They were delicious ?. It seems a little pricey, but the meals are well portioned. The service was also great! If you're in the area, you should definitely give them a try.

Have been here several times. The onion rings are very good. I’ve also had the fish tacos, a hamburger, the chicken walnut salad and the enchiladas with the green sauce. Overall the food is very well prepared and has very nice presentation. I feel as if the flavor of the items could use a bit of tweaking. The salad dressing on the chicken walnut salad was very blah. The fish on the tacos was fresh and well cooked but something was lacking in the overall flavor of the taco. I would love to see this restaurant succeed and they are so close to getting it right and being a solid 5 star.

very under rated. Excellent fettuccini with shrimp, very friendly staff.I thought this was in downtown livermore but realized it's location, which took me back a bit, but then when the food came out I was so impressed that I'll now go out of my way to eat here!
