When I noticed Can Am Pizza popped up in my neighborhood I couldn’t help but want to support a small business, as someone who works for one in the Bay Area. I was craving pizza and my last few experiences with Pizza Guys have been regretful and unlike prior years, long story short… it was time to give Can Am a whirl. And hence I discovered my new favorite pizza restaurant!!! Can Am Pizza is pretty, ingredients are all super FRESH, the toppings are heavenly spread and my golly… the crust is crunchy! In every bite! We ordered the Mega Pizza and the Tandori Chicken Wings… in case you need a delicious and satisfying dinner :)

I was hesitant ordering the butter chicken calzone because I have been eating a variety of traditional indian dishes since I was a small child and have acquired a sense of what is “authentic” and what is … watered down spiced B.S. for lack of better words… but I was surprised with the recipe this place uses.
1. BUTER CHICKEN CALZONE: First, I requested extra butter chicken sauce in the calzone so I dont know how much is normally added but I was satisfied. Its not a typical butter chicken “gravy” I was really hoping for but it was not dry nor lacked flavor. Most importantly for me, the chicken was great quality! If you are like me and are likely to stop eating if you bite into a pice of grisly chicken you should be good here! Last note: Next time I will ask for NO diced tomatoes. So if you dont like raw tomato you have been warned.
MEDIUM THIN CRUST PEPERONI: 8 pieces of deliciousness that my bf and I loved and I am already feeling the impulse to get territorial over the leftovers of. The thin crust is fluffy still and reminds me of high quality ciabatta in flavor if that makes any sense and seemingly fries while cooking from the fat of the cheese and pepperoni. This is one of my new favorite places for pizza!
EXTRA PLUS: Upon picking up the food to go they provide two cups of ranch and some other sauce and cheese packets

This is a little gem in Livermore. They have the best thin crust pizza with indian flavors. Tried chicken karahi pizza it was awesome. Just giving one star less as they forgot to add cilantro that chose as an extra topping … a must to try

The Livermore location is very clean and well kept. CanAm has only been in town a few months, but has over 3 decades of experience in Washington state. We decided to try them out because we had the meatsa hangries. Ordered the meat lovers specialty pie. It came out hot and fresh. Crust was great - nice crunch and a good thickness (not doughy). The toppings were exceptional - high quality ingredients and cooked to crispy perfection. Filling and delicious! We happened to want an American style pizza, but they have a large offering of Indian-inspired pies. We're definitely going to try their butter chicken and Tikka masala pizzas. I highly recommend that you give CanAm a try - you won't be disappointed.

I ordered the primo pesto Pizza and it was delicious. I could tell all the ingredients were fresh. The owner was super friendly and personable and the store was nice and clean. You can tell it's still brand new when you enter. I ate half and gave the other half to my girlfriend who was getting a tattoo next door, and even though she didn't have it as fresh as I did, she also said the pizza was delicious. I'm definitely going back the next time I'm in Livermore and have a craving for pizza. I have tried a couple different pizza places in Livermore and have always been meh. This is the first time I'm actually excited to go back and try other things on the menu.
