Service was impeccable. Downright amazing. My super mega ultra good server who’s tall, dark, and handsome with great hair and tattoos was soo attentive and fulfilled my needs very well. Greeted us with a smile. His name was Benny and was the bestest server ever. 10/10 would go again just for him. The ribs though were kinda mid but they were LARGE.

Authentic steak! Ordered 12oz of prime rib. It was rare, but when I turned it over myself, it tasted good.

Food was great but my daughter asked for medium rare but was given medium well. Her side of the seat had a bunch of garbage, ie. Crumbs, and stepping on Food particles. The bathroom garbage bin was overflowing with used paper towels, the handicap stall was out of toilet seat covers, it should have been checked every hour since it's only open from 4 pm to 10 pm. Cleanliness is a must. Scored 3/10.

Parking: Not enough handicap slots.

Kid-friendliness: Too friendly, kids are allowed to run around in the hallway.

Wheelchair accessibility: Although wheelchair can pass by between tables, not enough room to turn back.

Fantastic tasting, perfectly cooked, New York steak.

Bit of an issue splitting the bill because we forgot to tell the server in advance but a great evening yesterday.

Mikayla was our server and she was absolutely incredible! She goes above and beyond for the customers, makes you feel right at home. She exemplifies above-average customer service and we will most definitely be back because of her!

Very disappointing. Sat at the bar. We were mostly ignored by the bartender. He was "too busy" with men at the other end of the bar. Never brought us the beans that are supposed to be included with the meal. We would have had a few more drinks had we gotten a little attention-getting or if he checked on us at least once. I feel like he ig ored us because we were 2 wome n who he "thought" were not goi g to dri k or tip. Typucal male bullshit. Very upsetting and the place was not busy at all especially at the bar. It will be a long time if I ever go back.

Every time I eat at Cattlemen's, I have a wonderful experience. The food is cooked perfectly!

Dietary restrictions: I am gluten intolerant, and I have plenty of choices to choose from on the menu.

Parking: The Livermore Cattlemen's has free parking.

Cattlemen’s is a Bay Area jewel when it comes to eating good meats. Been coming for years and their flavor is consistent, always delicious. Love their salads and the ranch is amazing. Who can forget the warm bread served fresh and unlimited, hence why I only come on cheat days from my workout eating routine, bread so good you’ll most likely get diabetes from the high carb intake. Service is always friendly, unlike the lack of cellphone service you’ll have in the building itself but that only adds to enjoyment of eating when you don’t have to worry about anyone calling to disrupt you (unless of course if you have Verizon). I do like the ranch/barn/stable look of the restaurant with the dim lights and long mysterious hallways, always making it difficult to find where your family/party is sitting if arriving late, the plus is that it makes it more intimate for those special date nights. They have a banquet room for larger parties and a full bar with tables for those who do not want to wait to be seated, bar seating is first come first serve basis. When I do eat here I usually get the beef ribs, as it is very difficult to find restaurants that serve beef ribs. I also get the rib eye steak (cowboy steak). Always delicious selections. If you’re not the meat type they do have a really good pasta dish.

When I'm in Northern California, I try to find an excuse to visit Cattlemen's. I've been to several of there locations and have never been disappointed. I am a "meat and potatoes" guy. While they can make things fluffy and frilly, I am pleased with the basics they lay out - a salad with lettuce, 1000 island dressing, and croutons is my perfect starter. And let's not forget the freshly baked sour dough bread. Despite those who would laugh at my plain pallet, the Harris Ranch beef complements my perfect dinner. Do not miss out on what I think is the steak capitol in either coast.
