Darcie Kent Estate Winery

We are members at Darcie Kent for about a year now and love this place! Wonderful atmosphere, release parties, and most importantly — WINE!!!! Such a gem of a place. They have great servers. Lisette helped us through a tasting even though we were late and made it a great experience. On occasion, we have been helped a few times by Carolyn as well as she remembered our names and always says hi. We love the staff and everything about this winery, doesn’t feel snobby, more like a family.

Stopped unexpectedly at Darcy Kent Winery for a tasting and had the most wonderful experience that I had to share. Was so warmly welcomed by Julia who offered us the most custom experience - sharing her knowledge of wines and a bit about the wines and events coming up - even custom made a small afternoon snack to pair with our wine as we were between meals. We were blown away by her hospitality and her warmth. She made us feel like we were VIPs and we sat in the beautiful patio realizing we wanted to plan our next visit soon... and often. The wine (Malbec Rose, Albarino and Sauvignon Blanc) we enjoyed were each fantastic) and the experience was truly special. We were treated like family and we cannot wait to come back. Great wines !

Good location with nice selection of wines and some snacks. A bit pricey and you have to buy 3 bottles to get the $30 tasting fee waived.

Like so many things, wine is subjective. For us, the red wine flight was so-so. None of the four wines stood out to us as particularly good...they were smooth drinking, but lacked interesting profiles or character. Additionally their pricing seems expensive for a short flight offering. On the other hand, the service was polite and the scenery was beautiful, as the tasting patio is surrounded by the vineyard.

Our visit to Darcie Kent Winery was the highlight of our trip to Livermore. We had the pleasure of enjoying a tasting outside amidst the beautiful vineyards. The setting was picturesque, making the experience even more enjoyable.

The wine itself was excellent. We were particularly impressed with our wine steward, Ian. Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable about wine and the local area, but he also has a great sense of humor that added to the fun of the tasting. Ian's recommendations were spot-on, and he guided us through the Mixed Palette flight with enthusiasm. We even got a couple of bonus pours, which was a delightful surprise.

All the wines we tried were well-balanced, and we were so impressed that we decided to join The Portfolio Club. The club offers free shipping, which is perfect for us since we live in Florida.

If you visit Darcie Kent Winery, be sure to ask for Ian—he’s amazing and will undoubtedly enhance your experience!

This was my favorite winery that we went to on our trip to Livermore. We got to enjoy a tasting outside and the vineyards were so pretty. The wine was also excellent. Our server, I think his name was Ian? was also fantastic! A funny guy with a lot of knowledge on wine too. I'd highly recommend coming here.

Ian at Darcie Kent was a blast. Our group had a great time doing tastings here and the wine was delicious.

Went on a busy day during the winter holiday week. They handled the numbers of people there very well with a smile. Enjoyed the wines. Lovely outdoor patio. Beautiful art in the labels and walls. Our pup enjoyed it there too.

Very nice wine tasting area. Outdoors. Amazing views. You can bring a snack to accompany your tasting. You can also buy appetizers there too.

I'd tasted Darcie Kent wines before but had never visited the winery in Livermore until now. On the day of my visit, a smoky haze limited the view, allowing me to concentrate more on the winery itself. Notably, Darcie Kent is open every day, a rarity in the valley. Standouts from my tasting were the Sauvignon Blanc Pistascio, the Chardonnay, and the Petit Verdot. I've selected a few bottles from here to elevate my next open house elegance!!
