Super fun evening at Demitri's Taverna! We reserved dinner and happily enjoyed happy hour from 3 to 6 PM. We each enjoyed a mule cocktail, a small Greek salad, and shared a Gyro pita. Delicious! We honestly could have stopped there, but were intrigued by the chicken Florentine sandwich, so we shared it with some fries. Our server, Jessica, was friendly and helpful as we asked many questions about the menu. The price for food and beverages was a deal. We look forward to returning to explore more on the menu.

We stopped here while visiting our friend in Livermore about a year ago going to the farmers market. All we got was their sliced baguette with this creamy garlic/potato spread and I knew I was coming back. We came with a few more friends yesterday for my birthday and was completely blown away. I ordered the special of the day which was Pastitsio. I was told by the host it was like a Greek lasagna. I love lasagna, but WOW! This was so good that I really took my time and savored it. I mean Wow! The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. Such a fun place to eat with friends. We even had a shot with Demitri😆👍🏼 We’re gonna try to come here every time we come to Livermore😎

One of the best places I’ve visited in a long time. Not only is the food 10/10 but the service and vibe are awesome. I wish we had this place in Vancouver. I spent my time making new friends and eating great food. Thanks for making an out of towner feel included! I will be back for sure. The owner, Dimitri, is a very involved, making sure everyone is happy and taken care of, which is why the experience is top notch. PS there is construction right now but everything is still open, so make sure that you still visit because it’s worth it! :)

It's hard to find Greek food near where we live in Nevada, so we jumped the chance to try Demitri's when it came up. We were not disappointed in the food or service - both were excellent. Will plan to go back the next time we are in that area to try other dishes.

We made a reservation, but were given a couple very busy location choices for our table. It ended up being almost at the front door, but OK because we watched the chefs and I saw that our waitress had taken over bartending. The owner/manager took care of us after that 🙂
Had a glass of Greek Merlot that was a skimpy pour, but quite tasty. My gyro was delish, except for overripe tomatoes and needed more sauce. Pita was excellent!
If we go back, I'll try a table in back/outside.

I loved that most dishes were served with vegetables as a side and not fries. My bifteki were delicious too.
Always good food and the last three times we've been as a group we've sat at a larger table right by the bar and had the same young man serve us - he's sweet, helpful, patient and prompt! Great service!

Demitri's is an exceptional venue. Their food is top notch and it feels like the family you like when you go there. The wine pairing with Arroyo Cellars was excellent and the wine pours reasonable. Definitely a place to which I will return.
