Excellent food and the menu offers much variety. I live in the expensive Lafayette / Walnut Creek area and Ivwas super surprised how good Dimitri’s food is, and a great value for quality food.

I ordered food from Demitris for our executive's lunch meeting, and the service was absolutely phenomenal. They even called to confirm our pickup time and made the entire process smooth and professional. The food was delicious, freshly prepared, and full of flavor — truly the best gyros in town. Highly recommend!

I was so impressed with the catering from Demitri’s Taverna for my grandson’s first birthday celebration. The Agora Pita Bar package with chicken and gyro was wonderful. Everything arrived fresh, beautifully prepared, and easy for guests to serve themselves. I’ve been to many catered events over the years and this was truly one of the best. If you need catering in the Tri-Valley, I would absolutely recommend Demitri’s for any family event or special occasion.

Ordered take out . Vegetarian options only . Lady who took order probably was not really listening…had loads of pita bread - no Hummus! Had exactly two olives in the salad ! The soup was good.

A hidden gem behind unfortunate city construction (for now) deserving far greater acclaim. We ordered the Bifteki Smirnako and Moussaka, each executed with remarkable precision and depth. The Bifteki was tender and richly seasoned, while the Moussaka offered balanced layers of creamy béchamel and savory meat, transporting us straight to Athens. Service was helpful & attentive, embodying the warmth of true Greek hospitality. Mexican Mules were crafted perfectly, refreshing and well-proportioned. It’s a shame this place isn’t bustling on a Saturday – their kitchen and team deserve a full house. A memorable dining experience I would return for without hesitation.

Super fun evening at Demitri's Taverna! We reserved dinner and happily enjoyed happy hour from 3 to 6 PM. We each enjoyed a mule cocktail, a small Greek salad, and shared a Gyro pita. Delicious! We honestly could have stopped there, but were intrigued by the chicken Florentine sandwich, so we shared it with some fries. Our server, Jessica, was friendly and helpful as we asked many questions about the menu. The price for food and beverages was a deal. We look forward to returning to explore more on the menu.

We stopped here while visiting our friend in Livermore about a year ago going to the farmers market. All we got was their sliced baguette with this creamy garlic/potato spread and I knew I was coming back. We came with a few more friends yesterday for my birthday and was completely blown away. I ordered the special of the day which was Pastitsio. I was told by the host it was like a Greek lasagna. I love lasagna, but WOW! This was so good that I really took my time and savored it. I mean Wow! The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. Such a fun place to eat with friends. We even had a shot with Demitri😆👍🏼 We’re gonna try to come here every time we come to Livermore😎
