Good overpriced food. Waiting in line for food is ridiculous. I saw a lady leave her purse and phone on a table; so she had a place to eat. ($25 for 2 eggs toast and sausage!) Also, never came around for drinks. So make sure you get double drinks at register.

The food is always great, and the service is usually very prompt. The manager is very hands on, and I've seen her walking the dining room on multiple occasions. There's definitely some cleanliness stuff that should be looked at, specifically the stuff that's left on the table condiment wise. The pepper shakers look like they've never been cleaned, and the bottles of hot sauce have clearly just been refilled over time instead of eventually replacing them.

I have been here several times and tbh their food quality and service is a hit or a miss. Basically, if you go on a weekend around noon, their food quality drops and the service is bad. They have also refused to cater to my dietary restrictions because the “kitchen is swamped”. Basically if you are vegetarian or vegan you won’t really be accommodated here and you will have very few options to pick from.

This is a laid-back spot with really great food and pastries! The chicken and waffles were very tasty and the complimentary chips and salsa make you feel right at home. Coupled with pleasant customer service, you will not be disappointed with making a stop here.

Had the UBE pancakes (shared). Too heavy for one person. It was delicious!I am annoyed that their tipping on an after tax basis. They should have that on the machine when you are paying because you only find out after they print the receipt(see bottom). I find this misleading and it ruins my experience. For all if you who keep skipping your receipts, see this how you find out these things.

I love Denica's, the food is so amazing, I been two locations, Castro valley and here, both places gets really crowded, but we got ready lucky at this one with no wait and we got a table right away, we beat the rush, the prime rib is so good, the meat is very tasty and the gravy it came with has alot of good flavor. My second time getting the prime rib and it's huge piece of meat.

Good breakfast spot, one of the busiest in the area. About two or three vegetarian & vegan options. The ube pancakes are highly recommended; not too sweet they’re served with a sweet potato & coconut based sauce. They do a relatively healthy vegetarian omelette but charge extra for egg whites (that’s a thing now for some reason).Absolutely horrid costumer service; it’s one thing to have to pay at the counter as you walk in. Quite another to be told “sorry I know it’s raining outside but there are no seats available in the dining area”. This happened 10 seconds AFTER we paid! We were forced to desperately get into roving patrol mode and scan every booth and table hoping someone might decide to leave. What a sad and unprofessional way to treat your customers!! Why not tell us that there are no seats available as we approached the register and BEFORE we paid?? Too much to ask I guess.
